@dregerclock It's actually very good practice in general. Also, when flying cross country, we made pick a field that turns out to have hidden debris and it may be necessary to land very gingerly.
@altairtime Very lucky. It was our club's neighbor's first time visiting our LZ in 27 years! Too bad I left the keel cam off. Got sidetracked when I zipped into my harness and left my gloves in the boot. Had to get all the way out and back in which threw off my routine.
@menamiketrx It's also useful if one leg falls asleep and/or gets Restless Leg Syndrome then wanders off in the air. Of course, you may want to stay airborne and hunt for the errant leg rather than land short, so to speak.
@CraigRidley1 It's actually a soft cast and I can still flex my ankle pretty good. Otherwise I never would have considered flying. I just needed to keep the big toe immobilized.
very good landing, pinkfoot! I love the narration and the 3d graphics.

@dregerclock Yikes! I sure hope not. I bought a big floater of a glider to make landings fingertip.

Can't keep him out of the air even with half the landing gear missing. Nice.

@adamp There are thermals to be tended to mate! It's a necessary job and someone's got to pay them mind or they don't keep coming 'round. ;-)

I will practice this technique, just in case that one of my legs fall off during flight.

@shess0501 If I ever get really good, I'll land w/ one leg still inside the harness. :-)
