From Thanksgiving to New Year's, I am succumbed by suffocating depression. We knew in 1997 that my dad was going to die of lung cancer but little did we know it'd be on December 23, 1997. The pain never goes away. He was the embodiment of holiday joy and now we're left with this tremendous void since he died.
God Bless you Tammy, you are in my prayers. I pray all is well with your son and your sorrow is less heavy. I know that God says in His Word that He is near the Broken Hearted.
Not only me, but a lot of people I know have been tremendously blessed by this video. This really is a very beautiful and hopeful video when you are down and feel like you want to die. God bless you for sharing your pain through this video for others to receive the hope you have.

However based upon were a person is mentally, physiologically and emotionally. God will send someone just where you are, to tell you that he cares. Their will be beauty for ashes just let him in. You are not the only person who have asked me if I was ok when I made that. But the truth is it was just artistic expression. Which maybe I was using pain from past experiences, but at the time, I was just fine. I don't know. It was just me being creative.
You may not have told your story. However, you have told mine. This song alone with your artistic expression have told my life story and I am sure many others as well. Of what god can and will do. What you have shared has brought me to tears. It reminded me of what god have done in my life over 16 years ago. Thank you for sharing this message of hope. Today I counsel with many teens as well as adults who want to give up. However, hide behind smiles.
