The Game Genie Code IKAAAE on various NES game

In the NES game Mc Kids, that cheat does:

All musics are combined with music of the caves.

The levels have unlimited size.

The colors are crazy!

A lot of WTF's?

Oh, and the reason IKAAAE works so much is because it translates to loading #98 in $8080 of memory, In the case of Super Mario Brothers, $8080 is one of the addresses used to load the graphics. In many other games, it's probably part of a fundamental subroutine as well since code starts at $8000 and most of the fundamentals are coded early.

@GilWanderley2455526 not really. The only thing the game genie can do to the system is the way you need to put it in the console. It make the connector a little farther each time you insert it. Other than that, You can't damage a system with a game genie (I wonder where the idea of a cheat device destroying a system come from)

I mean that IKAAAE is not really a code, but a virus that can fuck up not only your game's cartridge, but even your WHOLE NES! So entering that code on real NES (not emulator) might most likely make it blow up xD Just kidding, but it really can mess it up.

That is absolutely false.  Other than some potential physical damage resulting from the GG connector itself, no code has the ability to cause permanant damage to a game (altough, as mentioned, saved games could possibly be deleted.) This is because all GG codes are entered into the systems' RAM, which gets wiped whenever the NES is powered off.

ohh srry then and yes game genie code can'T cause the game or the system to never work again but the game genie ITSELF can kill the NES in a way. Because you the shape the game genie is made it push some of the connector farther than the other. That why game genie code is much more enjoyable on a NES you don't care of or an emulator

I dont know, I got many video that I will upload but because of school it take alot of time. if you wanna know i got 68 NES game Total and during the video making of IKAAAE they were some game that Ikaae was doing no effect (Like Double Dribble and the legend of zelda 2)
