Not bad for your first actually. Your basic concept is pretty good. Add more frames. I noticed that you forgot to move the outline and fill of the head in unison and a good fix to that is to get rid of the outline.
add more frames and instead of just having the legs one straight line try making them 2 lines where the knees are and physics as frank said. but better than my first flash thats for sure

sure, try to use some of the pivot concepts, i mean like easing....

and work on drawing yar sticks so they dont look wobbly.... ;D
