i know how to start a mission off with the troops already inside the boats, but how do you make the boats actually go close enough to the shore, that when the troops jump out, they don't have to swim. whenever i do it, the boats unload the troops away from the shoreline, despite my waypoints, and makes my troops vulnerable.
yep, download all the updates and 1 of the patches fixes the problem. after that, the drivers will actually beach the boats, so the troops can get out. just make sure the beach has enough room. ive made a massive amphibious assault now.
is there any way i can play this on vista i got a duel core proceccer 1.83gigz im going to upgrade soon and my grapics card is a nvidia 8800m gts and 4 gigs of ram
well you can download it free, but its kinda buggy and theres no online play. So unless you like to script like crazy to make the AI super badass. Buy it.
I made something similar to this in Operation Flashpoint, I put a T-80 at the top of the base and there were machinegun turrets everywhere, I beat it only once.
well...if you can play that alright on a 6800GT with an Athlon 3500+, I can play that excellent with a 3500+ a gig of DDR400 and a 7600GT...soon to be 7900GS
Just wait till you get to forrest areas you'll cry, my pc is a 3500+ 1gb ram n a ati 850xtpe, the games looks quite nice in the sandy areas of the map but once u have all this grass and forest it slows right down.
this game pisses me off...im gonna get a Q6600 and w/e video card that is out there when i get the Q just to play this damn game...it kills my system...

It's a very shitty computer. :) Everyone's complaining how heavy the game is on your system, I tried to prove otherwise with this video. This is pretty old now, though. The game has been optimized a lot and will run far smoother now.

Yes the battle of the bulge was the biggest the US was ever involved with, dday wasnt even the biggest in history. the battle of stalingrad is said to be the bloodiest battle in history taking 1 million + lives. dday had about 3000 casualties.
As far as I know the battle of kursk was the largest in WW2 in terms of losses. Stalingrad had several battles resulting in the highest losses in one area.
what procrams I can use to record arma? I know Fraps is the best but any free one

I have the same problem they jump of to soon and lose thier guns. Have you found a solution?
