@elvis0258 yes indeed Michael Landon: Charles ingalls, victor French: Mr. Edwards, Kevin Hagen: Dr. Baker, Dabbs Greer: Reverend Alden, MerlinOleson: Jonathon Garvey, Steve Traey: Percival Dalton(that was Nellies husband)
tja egal...auch wenn ich deutch spreche, verstehe ich ne menge...super gemacht!!!!"unsere kleine Farm" is so eine super Serie, mit der ich aufgewachsen bin...
This was one of the sadesst Little house on the praire's ever richard bull ( Mr. Olsen ) Admitted that he was just a little dissapionted when walnu grove saw it's end
Um, you best ask somebody. Apparently you haven't watched more than a few episodes. . .They've sung Amazing Grace, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, Rock of Ages, and others, I'm sure. Trust me, my sister bullied me into watching Little House when I was little, until I became a fan of the show myself.
I love Little House on the Prairie even today. I never seen this episode before. Maybe it's good I didn't cause this little portion of it made me tear up.
Thank you for posting this - I cant believe how emotional I got watching it - especially when they blow the town up. Little House was a huge part of my life growing up but this clip that you have shown will now stay with me forever
I was crying when I was watching this part when Mr. Laster took over Walnut Grove. I understand why the townpeople have to do what they have to do there is no question about it.
last nite there was this like tv land thing and the were talking about the tv shows like little house and those other shows like good times and yah but they said that micheal landon didnt want anyone to reuse the set so he said he was going to blow it up
If you look in the Webster's dictionary under the "perfect TV show" Little House on the Prarie, should be the definition. I watched it growing up and now my children love it as well. I wonder why Hollywood cant figure out that this is what most Americans want in a TV show. Not the smut that is flooding our airwaves. Most of the shows they put out now only last a year or two and get cancelled. Cursing and Nudity in TV programs nowadays should not be something we have to put up with.
this episode was on last night on hallmark channel i recorded it and a couple weeks ago they showed um i forget the name but the one when albert dies and bless all the dear children
Thank you for posting this. As long as I've been watching the show (since childhood), I don't ever remember watching this episode. It was so sad !!! Good for them to stand up for themselves.......and I love the group "switchfoot" !!!
I've never seen more then season 6, and I want to ask? Why are they blew up everything, i know this is the end of this program, but why that and? I mean, have they a reason to do that?
because lassitor said they had till sunday to get out of the town and they said fine have the town but the building were theirs and they did not want him to use the buisnesses and homes the they sweated over
They chose to end the show with an explosion because Michael Landon's contract with the place they filmed stated that all buildigns would have to be removed when the show ended. It was the perfect way of returning the land to its original state and wrapping up the series.
I saw this episode on TV about a year ago and cried my eyes out, especially on the parts when Nels Oleson blew up the mercantile and when Rev. Alden declared that Walnut Grove "did not die in vain." What a heartbreaking way to end one of the greatest TV shows in history.
One more quesstion. It seemed as if there were more people leaving the town that actually lived in it! I was a fan of the show when I was younger! You did a great job...Awesome song choice too!
The question I have and will always have is ..where did they go? They had no where to live...they just rode off into the sunset in their buggies! Where did the 'Pringles' and the Oleson's live? There isn't anywhere to move to in Kansas? Not now and surely not then! Where'd they go!?
Awesome video. Very well done! Although you could have shown the final shot of all of the wagons passing the old Ingalls house at the end of the video. But the video's excellent the way it is.
I love Little House on the Prairie! One of the best shows ever made! I have the 1st season on DVD, and I plan to get the rest! This is my fav. episode! It made me cry and so did this video! EXCELLENT JOB!!!
Wow!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it when "We are one tonight" began playing as I started watching this video! My favorite TV show of all time is LHOP, and Switchfoot is totally my favorite band. I've been to their show 7 times. Awesome job putting together this video!!
The only thing missing from this episode was Katharine Macgregor-Mrs. Oleson...as amazing as it was I wish she could have been able to be in it to make it just a little bit better!
Good job! I've never been able to see this one so I'm glad you did this! And the song is awesome too, Switchfoot rocks! Don't you think the lead singer of SF looks like Almonzo?
this was so kool i love watching little house on the prairie and still do thanks

The character actor..who played the fink land owner"Mr.Lassiter"..Mr.James
Karren is really a sweet and kindly old gentleman.I've met him in NYC years ago
..and he is nothing like the corrupt and mean old fink that he plays here.
