I plan to buy this camcorder , but i cannot find any footage on youtube, so it is rather difficult to make decision.

Not many people have the HR10, presumably because the HF10/100 with Encinema 35 provides better bang for the buck. However, I'm going to buy the HR10 tonight and upload some stuff if no footage is available.

Okay I just bought this camera and the footage is superior to the other Canon consumer camcorders. You can make bigscreen films if you attach the Encinema 35 to it and use a stabilizing harness. The visual quality is that good. Weaknesses of this camera: Stabilization and the fact that you need a stack of DVDs, and the fact that DVD cameras eat battery faster. You want at least 2 or 3 batteries.
