I think the reason why a lot of people were disappointed with "Hannibal Rising" is the fact that one goes in expecting a horror movie. Rising is more of a historical drama with horror elements. I wasn't let down because I had read the book first...so I knew what to expect.

Im pretty erratated that no more books have been written to be made into movies. I mean, Hannibal hasn't died yet in the story. I love Hannibal & I want to see his life until the day he dies! You can't leave the story of a character THAT magnificant on a cliffhanger. I personally don't feel like its the end of the story >( If one last book could be written for us to see the last chapter of his life, my life would be complete!

But after all, it is just a fictitious story:)

@kattwoman17 I don't see what's wrong with how Hannibal ended, Hannibal is fine, Clarice is still fine, Hannibal just ran off that's all, it seems totally open for another book/movie to me. It mainly depends on another book being written. And Anthony Hopkins getting a HUGE paycheck.

@Nicallica11 There was nothing wrong with how the book ended. The movie, however, is another story. It did not end the same way as the book - not even close. If Thomas Harris wrote another book in the series, it would diverge even farther from the path the Hannibal moving was taking.. Have you read the books?

I heard it was a song they made for Vampire the Masquerade as they liked the game so much.

It's almost impossible to find this song, and this is the first time I have heard it on here. My BF has it on his computer but can't find where he got it from.

@xyinparadise, Man Hunt is the same as Red Dragon, seeing as the latter is a remake of the former. And, really, it had Hannibal in it for all of..three minutes, I believe. So I doubt that would count seeing as it was not about Hannibal at all. The remake, however, as well as the book, were much more involved with his story.

Hannibal Rising is when his whole legacy started; Red Dragon is when he got captured; Silence of the Lambs is when he escapes; Hannibal is when he is free. There is an older version of Red Dragon called Manhunter... I think which does feature Lector in a cell but not a whole lot of him in it. Brian Cox played Hannibal in this version so it looks weird when you don't see Anthony in it.

Thomas Harris has only 4 books of Hannibal, I believe he is not continuing it anymore.

I have done that many times. I remember they had one page, yes, one page of this song but the time difference between that time and this movie were too great. I did regret not grabbing the lyrics when I had the chance. Oh and that page is gone forever... so my regret still goes on.
