If Clair McCaskill wants to talk methane or biogas i will listen, because that is part of the solution. Anything else is just guiding the inevitable trainwreck that is the super profit method power centralizing method. If you don't want nuclear powered heating, we should start thinking about. A new energy crop would or could be controlled growth algae. Can we make and store enough? Of course we can! We could make it with anything organic, We could clean up the dead wood as it falls. Sun energy in methane gas out. It is as simple as that. No refineries, no coal plants, no drilling clean air, clean water. We could have all that and give people some physical work to do, and a nice quiet job.

We need an economy that is based on doing some minimal work and living well. Instead of jail, we could have organic material handling that will become service for the able bodies that can. Senator McCaskill is currently holding the seat that President Truman held when he was in the Senate. After the US entered WWII, he headed the Truman Committee, which uncovered wasteful spending by the military. This put him in the national spotlight for the first time, which eventually led him to the presidency. She seems to be the same type of person as Truman - honest, hardworking, caring of others and willing to speak out against wrong. I'd vote for her for president.

I am an undergrad student at the Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock. We keep the news on mute during class but when saw Ms. McCaskill on we knew it would be good. After watching her speech on the senate floor this morning many of us went to the senate website and signed up for campaign volunteering. Of coarse Arkansans were disappointed about Hillary and we will be there to campaign for Barack in 2012 but when the time comes we will be ready. Here's to 12 years Dem Rule!
