@TheForeverWorld There used to be a great little record shop in London called Groove Records during the 80's electro heyday where you could pick up all the latest 12" vinyl imports from NYC.I used to go down there almost every weekend to spend my pocket money on the latest records.You also had the series of electro mix records from the UK's Streetwave label where I first heard this Key-Matic track.

Dayum!!! I remember them playing this at the Silver Shadow in Manhattan. Everybody would lose they mind and hit the dance floor with or without a dance partner; then the DJ would keep mixin' it down on two tables for at least 30 minutes. My feet would be screamin' because of the heels, but I couldn't feel a thang on this song.

@port2344chester thanks to street sounds records and dj's like mike allen we got to hear all these classics in the UK, tuning in late night with a blank D90 ready, US rap, soul, go-go, being tuned into by kids across the pond, some like me out in little back end of nowhere towns, hearing this music was like hearing something from another planet. Constantly had this one on the walkman and boombox on the 'electro 4' cassette. Old school now, but back then so future.
