youtube2008 - the embargo is only to prevent hamas terrorists from entering israel. before the plo/fatah/hamas took over, palestinians had freedom of movement all over israel without checkpoints etc. they had jobs all over israel, their unemployment was under 5%. israelis traveled to/from gaza to fix the car's engine & drink a coffee. israelis didn't have to be on guard against palestinian suicide bombers in israel and palestinians saw neighbors willing to accept/respect them.
