The Roman soldiers who performed executions knew their craft. They were experts in torture and death. The Romans knew how much punishment to hand out so they would not cripple the prisoner unless they wanted to. The Roman executioners would not make that kind of mistake. Another thing is the tomb was guarded by Romans so the Christians would not steal the body. Matthew 27:62-66

@fffreddie : Don't forget that Pilate had a soft corner for Jesus. His wife too had a soft corner for Jesus {Mathew 27:19}. This is the reason that Pilate brought water & wash his hands in front of Public saying that " “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” Mathew 17:24

After escaping from the tomb at night Jesus even changed his appearance to look like a Gardner. {John 20:15}. This Proves that since, he was still Physically alive & feared that Romans may not arrest him he changed appearance.

,Imagine how much blood lost Jesus and he did not riceved any medical treatment.

So how can a man who was flogged, so weak that he had to have help carry his wooden beam, then nailed to a cross, pass out, stabbed in the lungs, and 3 days later be strong enough to move a heavy stone? Was he given a blood transfusion to replace the blood loose? It must have been great medical care. I don’t think that many men today could revive so quickly. Was his disguise so good that he fooled Mary and his disciples and had to show him his wounds? Did he go to a plastic surgeon?

if this was politics then i wouldn't vote for someone that spent there time ripping others apart, i would vote for someone that madea convincing case to follow them. any sort of God that enjoys watching you lto slate each other isn't a God i ant anything to do with. Peace upon you.

He was beaten to near death before he was nailed to the cross, this is why it did not take him long to die on the cross.

..and after all this,woke up like nothing happened,took off His wrapped linen cloth, stood in the darkness of His tomb,  moved the big and heavy rock by Himself, despite that there were soldiers outside guarding the place, & simply went away!!

How can a wounded man simply do all this, if He wasn't God! And they say He didn't die on the cross! If He didn't die & resurrected by a stunning miracle,how can He simply walk away on His own after He beared so much torture & wounds & lost so much blood!

Yeah, He waited 3 days and nights in a cold dark tomb, wrapped in a linen cloth and laid down on a hard rock in a very uncomfortable position, without food or water, soaked in His blood, after He spent a whole night before His arrest in praying and agonizing, then arrested, beatten, walked miles and miles, mistreated, imprisonned, whipped, mocked, condemned to death, held His heavy cross, crucified and pierced into His heart with a lance..

You've got to consider this imo: if Jesus achieved enlightenment & his mind surpassed all that is generally attributed to the limits of human personality, then why the hell would he want to get Himself crucified? Clearly few have taken this on board, but if you're God personified at least in part, then the idea that you'd succumb to primitive methods of execution are surely irrelevant & some attempt to twist the truth around by others.

Dear brother, I apologise for the words "it is written In the bible". But that is the heitage and belief of roman catholic church which is one of the first christian church. In bible there is a mention of one simon who was asked to carry the cross on christs way to gagultha. It is belief that jesus fell several times with cross and was too tired to carry the weight of the cross while climbing the mountain and the jews wanted him crucified ,so they advocated simon to carry the cross.

@dawah1 They didn't mention this verse John 19:40 Following Jewish burial custom, they wrapped Jesus’ body with the spices in long sheets of linen cloth. The application of myrrh & aloe was a BURIAL CUSTOM, not because they new Jesus was still alive. Now the stone. The stone was not moved so Jesus could get out. It was moved so people would know He had RISEN!
