hi ur videos are very helpful and i am interested in learning to use FCP as I am downloading it right now, i know very little about editing videos and this is a really basic question but when do you render your clips? do you do it when you are done editing everything right before you export?
Hi Andre- all 5 of your tutorial have been extremely helpful! I can't thank you enough. I currently have an issue though.. I have the canon xha1s but FCP doesn't seem to be able to read it. I bought the FW 800.400 9 pin to 6 pin cable. I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly. Can you show me what settings I need to put the system in for me to Log and Capture the video?
@barendbos Yes. I will start up again in two weeks! I will do this more like full time and some will be free and some will be a small cost, but more help is on the way, for the pros and the beginners:)
Great Videos!!! I just got my FCP7 and desperately need a tutorial on how to use the program and I found yours very helpful. I spent the last 30 minutes watching the 5 beginner clips and found them very useful for a beginner. I hope you continue to post most more tutorials!
Quick question, in the VIDEO SETTINGS- can you tell me what the setting code for video shot from hand held digital cameras is? I shoot a lot of video from my picture camera and wanted to edit with those videos.
@tyraonelove glad you liked them!! can you tell me what type of hand held camera you have? most new cameras that are mede for pictures can shoot in high definition today, but not all. if its in hd then its probebly in 1080p ore 1080i. p stands fore progressive film and this is the best quality. i stands for interleist film and this is olso hd, but the pictures are compressed in a way that makes the quality not so great. .. still great, but not perfect.. if its not in hd then maby in mpeg4 ?
