  • I love the bucket of balls, need one of this bucket of balls

  • you kno, you really shoulden't have a stack'n tilt swing. when your'e 40 your'e gonna wanna wish you were dead because of all of the back pain you eventually will have :P just look at Rory McIlroy. it has already messed up a young golfers dream

  • it seems you have one of those TW downswing.

with all due respect, why dont you look at Rodney Pampling...

  • nice swing but that damn wrist cock thing in your routine drives me nuts

  • not stack and tilt....nice though.

  • Great swing dude, it doesn't look much like S&T to me but it looks darn good.

  • nice swing can u take a look at mine thanks

  • stopped the swing right after impact... you're on your toes like a ballerina. your left arm looks so tensed up during the whole 'preshot routine procedure' that I dont like much. you swing so hard at it that you loose control and balance. my advice is that you should work out in the gym improving power and stability gaining more control.

  • Not really a stack and tilt at all, but nice swing.

  • thats methodist !

  • stack and tilt fails. the pro that uses it has a 13 degree driver with 10 painted on it.

  • u move to much,,,,overall though good swing and also have your belt chest and head aligned at impact for a straighter shot

  • u da man! i dont want to see any balls left over in that crate by the time this movie is done

  • not sure how much this is actually stack and tilt, ur weight seems pretty far back, but ya sexy lag ha

  • @motoxracer376

Very good swing. Not stack & tilt. But neither was Hogan's!

  • Lovin the lag

  • how do you hit your irons... do you hit thm just as well

  • My iron play is typically the strength of my game, and my driving is coming along. I'm going to try to post some more updated swings soon

  • Regardless of the swing method you're trying to incorporate, you have too much weight on your toes. Stop your swing post impact and you're on both toes. You have a very good golf swing, getting the weight off your toes will help you pivot even better and be more consistent with more power. Lots of potential in your swing.

  • great swing man

  • Pretty Good lag there

  • dude you go to Methodist University. I just visited there this weekend. i just got back yesterday. your range is sick and so is your course. what year are you? i'm coming there next year for the PGA/PGM program and the golf team

  • great swing, but not really stack and til. but good swing.

  • whats your club head speed? mines about 115-120 and looks similar

  • Bennett and Plummer have said that Sergio has all the elements without being their student.

  • smokeypro...put up your swing and show us what you got...this kid is like Garcia!

  • that def is a callaway driver...

prob da ft-5... der soo damn loud...

  • ugly preshot rutine, sort of ugly swing

  • good swing. At 58 seconds, just after impact both feet are up on there toes, this is probibly because you're swinging very hard.

  • Your elboes will not get behind you as much on the follow through. Try the tee drill more, it helps with this. You may fee very un loaded in the wrists in your swing..

  • I like your swing. It has alot of very nice things about it. The only thing I would work on at this vantage is not letting your shaft get past 90 ddegrees on the backswing. When doing this your going to get a short arc feeling

  • Oh and by the way...the way Andy and Mike explain how to perform stack and tilt is really for the layman average golfer and even then it won't work for everyone...and there id not one of the tour players they coach who swing in the exagerrated manner they describe...NOT ONE!!

  • Yes I'm also a Hogan fan and there are many ways to skin a cat other than the way he swung...and rarely will I say this but man!...you have alot of similar characteristics in your swing but certain postions are off. Check out his swings on Youtube and refer back to what I have said here and you'll get it...I know you will...you have too many good things going on! Good Luck!

  • Finally do a search for Brian Manzella (he's not me). Brian Manzella Golf Show - Episode 6.

He explains how the pivot works. You see... when we move the core area (pelvis, lower spine etc..) of the body the way you do...trouble will occur in more ways than one. Poor results, possible injuries and frustration.

  • In finishing up a few thoughts. While performing the backswing keep your head steady and if it moves laterally (actually due to rotation; a hair away from the target is ok but really not much and not towards the target. Also remain level in your takeaway, no dropping your head or at least no where as much as before...

  • As I mentioned to you earlier as the hips turn left the shoulders will tilt back (spine bends sideways). This is what the human body wants to do to maintain balance. Because your pelvis is out of position approaching the ball did you notice how much you throw your head back (shoulders tilting, spine bending)? Obviously what do you think will be the result. Swing plane flattens out (approaching too much from inside), block shots to the right or hands flip and a hook...

  • Its not that I would want you to shift weight during your backswing...you should just feel a redistribution of pressure into the right hip, leg and foot. Since you don't have an issue getting back to left side this shaft drill (while hitting or balls or not)will put your pelvis in a better position (not so far ahead) approaching the ball so you don't have to compensate so much coming through...

  • Second: Put a broken shaft in the ground against your right ankle on an angle along you right leg and hip. It can be about a 1/2 an inch max from right hip. Turn against it during backswing but don't let your right hip separate from the shaft (towards the target) until you are ready to begin the transition (weight shift) starting down (probably you will feel this around the 3/4 position in your swing).

  • Shoulders and chest a little less open at address ( at least with long clubs).

Draw a line straight down along the outside of your right shoulder towards the ground. Right now that line is falling inside to along the edge of your right hip...it should fall slightly more outside the hip. Thats right a slight tilt away from the target. You turn so well during the backswing and transfer amazingly starting down you don't need to even think about remaining on the left foot...

  • I'm telling you, you will end up with lower back issues with overuse and you look like you are really passionate about the game and practice alot (large crate of balls). Here's what you should start working on...

  • While the hips turn towards the target coming throught the ball (left tranverse pelvic rotation) the spine will always bend sideways (shoulders tilt back away from target)to maintain the body's balance (this is normal). But if you combine this with the way your hips thrust (early spine extension) prior to contact as they must right now at the position you're in approaching the ball...

  • compensate by overthrusting (the feeling of springing your hips upward)the hips and straightening the leg and standing up to the point where you are up on your toes. A great way to hyper extend your knee and create another injury (possibly PCL)Posterior Cruciate Ligament. Tiger has had similar knee issues

  • The way you drop your head because too much weight is moving forward on the left foot (towards toes) during backswing while also sliding your hips towards the target during the backswing, puts your pelvis (hips) after your great transition starting down, way too ahead towards the target forcing you to...

  • I am a PGA member in Canada, top ranked teacher, knowledgeable in biomechanics and kinesiology and open minded and always ready to learn. I've told others with similar moves, talent and speed to yours that if they continue in this fashion long-term...lower back problems will occur (L1-L2 and on right side). Reason...

  • Stacking the spine as explained in the Golf Digest article may be a solution for the average golfer who is inhibited in his strength, flexibility and general inability or lack of coordination to swing in sequence or strike the ball solidly somewhat consistently...but this is not your case...

  • There are reasons you struggle with your hook and reasons why the last shot on this video was the best shot. It has nothing to do that with the fact that you up on your toes at impact (which surely you will receive as commentary from others)...being on your toes at impact is an effect of your setup position and how it affects the rest of the swing. I'm in lessons all day today but I'll get back to you later or tomorrow to explain. Cheers

  • You have a good swing, good transition creating an Hoganesque type lag...however, I'm telling you right now that the stack & tilt style is not for you. I've explained elements of this style before in others' videos. Parts of this "method"(I prefer to call it style) work for some people when properly interpreted , taught and put into practice...
