Would you mind if I use this as part of my soundtrack for my school drama project? Only this theme suits to be the "boss battle" theme in the film(the drama)...
THATS AN OLD GREEK SONG FROM 1927 Desert shadows creep across purple sands Natives kneel in prayer by their caravans There, silhouetted under an eastern star I see my long lost blossom of Shalimar You, Misirlou, are the moon and the sun, fairest one Old temple bells are calling across the sand We'll find our Kismet, answering love's command You, Misirlou, are a dream of delight in the night To an oasis, sprinkled by stars above heaven will guide us, Allah will bless our love Ah, Ah, Misirlou
@gryzly123. Before you try to correct someone, do your homework. While you're searching 'pulp fiction theme' try looking up a little thing called 'sampling'.
Isn't miserelou like an ancient song? Why on earth should dale get credit for a song he didn't actually write? I'm pretty sure I've heard various versions of this song before by different artists. Usually at birthdays and parties and stuff
Just so everyone knows, the song was actually originally made in 1963, its called "Misirlou" by Dick Dale... just think its respectful that the right person gets credit.
Thank you SOOO much. I am the same way. I'm tired of songs that have existed for years to be known after they're idolized by a movie, TV show, or commercial.
well dick dale is half lebanese, his uncle actually taught him to play the oud first, so that's why the music he played had a lot of this kind of influence and sound
Very nice man, I would've appreciated a bit harder drums though. More bass for a song like this would've been phenominal.
But great song nevertheless.
