I write children's books and i've converted all my picture books to iBooks, I am wondering in all honesty - your own personal opinion, do you feel kids are truly reading books on iPads? (Kindles, Nooks)
If not now - do you really feel kids, schools, parents, will convert to e-readers? I've a ten yr old and it's a wee bit uncomfortable to hand her a $800 iPad, but I'm wondering if other people feel this way? Would love to hear everyone's reflections.

i think they should allow ppl to take notes on the iPad when they are reading or something. Makeing it like a tablet almost. With that, it would make it very accessible for college student to take to class, take notes on the tablet and not having to carry ton of texts.

i think they should allow ppl to take notes on the iPad when they are reading or something. Makeing it like a tablet almost. With that, it would make it very accessible for college student to take to class, take notes on the tablet and not having to carry ton of texts.

Although it has interesting potential for future applications, the fact that this thing is made by apple means it will never reach its full potential and things that everyone else can experience (divx, xvid, flash etc) will be forever off limits with this device. Shame really.
