  • How can i download this game?

  • You chose Leonardo. There you go! Leonardo is my choice by default.

  • DARNIT SHREDDER!

  • In my opinion ..... The arcade version is better for some reasons : better sounds , attack moves, voices, better images of the stages , the sound of shell shock !

  • @Kojikz

but there's no fun in playing it, You die and simply insert another coin, especially on emulator it does not have soul in it :[ I still prefer manhattan project above every else tmnt game, even turtles in time, It's simply more chalenging

  • this was such a god of war game far years ago

  • i have this game too!!!!!!!,

  • played my bro's old game when iw as like..6? im 17 now an i wanna play it sooo much but you kno games eventually break.. with there was sum wii virtual console for this >.< cd onyl ind the first game.. (or actually i dont know.. it was sumthin similar but not this one..)

  • ....son of a b****

I need to find this game!

  • @Umbrella132

Give me your e-mail. I will send you the file with an emulator!

  • Damn rocksteady. He's hard as fuck

  • Nothing like product placement in a video game ^_^

  • THE MEMORIES! HOLY SHIT IMMA LIKE CRY

  • i remember this game. i was 8 years old in 1990 when this game came out...

  • oh my god the stage 8 with hockey face samuiri bosses............. his head use fly around like the exstrot and spin everywhere use to scared the shit out of me but it was funny at the same time.

i love this game so much it's going to make me cry that 2d's game will never make a come back.

  • J'adore ce jeu et j'ai 22 ans, c'est un très bon défouloir. Et personnellement, je trouve la version Nes bien meilleure que la Version Arcade Xbox 360.

  • I also have this for nes aswell. Fun game to have

  • the second part starts like in first part :P

  • lol pause at 1:33 look on the wall

  • aww that final boss song with rocksteady......... childhood memories!

  • Good old times:) But i always used A+B together, for special attack;)

  • well there is a jump slice attack if u press jump plus attack which kills a guy with one hit i played that level through without loosing a life on my lifebar

  • Sorry to say , but this guy sucks ass in playing this game.... not saying u can do alot of tricks on this old TMNT game, but still , kicks , jumps, guy is just goin on and on with his Swords. Idiot... pissing me off

  • I used to love this game as a kid. My 2nd cousins who are in their early 30s now used to have an NES at their house with this game on it. Every 4th of July back in the 90s me and my sister would go down in their basement and play TMNT II, and also Mario/Duck Hunt. I wish I could download TMNT II on our Wii because my used NES doesn't work well anymore. But the game isn't on the download list. My fave part is the big black balls coming down the stairs and the elevators.

  • @italianman1992 I hear you. I remember getting so upset when my brother stopped playing with his ninja turtla action figures. I could sense he was growing up. Nothing beats the early 90's. Never will be such a great start to a decade.

  • By far the best music ever.

  • totally, the first stage music is so much better than the regular NES version

  • Wasn't very fond of this game.

It had this weird bit to it where unlike in the actual arcade game where when you hit an enemy, you can time your hit to hit them the second they recover and take them out without hitting you, you can't formulate any sort of rhythm in this game since enemies will hit you no matter what.

And oh yeah, it's boring as hell to. Lacks the color and overall charm of the arcade.

  • playin this game reminds me of batman returns. thumbs down to both

  • 1.28 Haha, love product placement!

  • The first game and this were the first games I ever played. I feel really old now. I was about 4 when I first played this, and I'm now 19.

And looking back, Rocksteady was technically the first ever boss I've faced in a game.

  • You feel old, I am almost 30ish. Was a good game. TURTLE POWER!

  • The last time i played this masterpiece was almost 15 years ago. Man, i feel waaay nostalgic right now T_T

  • ditto man... ditto...

  • best game ever

but i had problems with a+b

  • I haven't played this in sooo long.

    Awesome!!!

  • i absolutely love the soundtrack on this level!!

  • Why is the fact that most people don't know about A+B?

  • Idk, I figured it out when I was 6, just screwing around with the controller.

The guy playing this video though, he sucks, it's obnoxiously easy to hold on to all of one's lives while on the first level of this game

  • A+B to jump, then A+B again to divekick, the most epic of all moves they ever did, and mainly used to kill everything (mobs, flying rockets etc.etc.)

When I was a kid I'd play till the blisters on my thumb from doing AB+AB would start to bleed.

  • this is tmnt 2 the arcade game for the nes the first tmnt was only one player

  • i love this game, im 22 and still play it!

  • 24, same deal

  • @cypressempires

i'm 28 and still play it! i wish i could go back in time and play it for the first time! This game absolutely rocks! There's no game that would come close!

  • @VampiroRockOn You can download it for xbox360. However, its the proper arcade game asking you to insert coins. I downloaded the other day.

  • @VampiroRockOn except the third ninja turtles game

  • @VampiroRockOn I don't think The Manhattan Project was so bad.

So you want to go back and time and play this for the first time? Does that include erasing all memories of having played it before or would you just want to go back to the age and location you were and pop that sucker in?

  • @FlamingBat

Yeah i want to go back and play it for the first time without ever playing it before! =)

  • Pressing A And B Together Would Be Better, Kills Them With One Hit.

  • but you also lose health for doing that

  • I Thought It Was Only TMNT 3?

  • No you don't.

  • this didn't work with the NES Four Score, =[

  • this game was so cool back in the day. i'd still play it if i had my old skool nes

  • this game is available on X-Box 360 Arcade

  • i have this game right by me, to bad my NES broke down. me and my brother just ordered it

  • Well, you can play this game with emulator, too.

  • not the same lol but we got a new one

  • If you have TURTLES battlenexus 2for PS@ or gamecube you can unlock the true ARCADE and play it.WOW thats a dream come true my friend.

  • Which one is it? TMNT 1, or is it Turtles In Time?

  • It's TMNT 1, the original arcade version. The arcade version of the second one (Turtles in Time) is availiable in TMNT 3: Mutant Nightmare for PS2/Gamecube.

  • Really? I didn't know that at all...Well I do now! XD

  • I remember thinking the White Footclan ninjas were the tightest enemy ever

  • dammmmmmmm i love this game just when i was about 8 years XD

  • Oh man this was such a great game back when I was a kid :D

  • Yeah classic, remember the days of beating this game with my brother when I was 11 and he was 8 lol

  • Good game online.

  • This game was so fucking hard, but good. I like the music.

  • it wasnt hard man,i used to get really far...lol

  • One morning, I just sat down and started playing good. I got to the last level, got bored, and turned it off.

  • Brings back memories for sure! I have my NES connected to the TV and I play more NES than xbox360 :) This video made me buy the game (again). Should recieve it within a week. Can't wait to play it again. From what I remember it was seriously pretty hard...

  • damn so much memories...

but the player damn sucks!!!! lol

i used to play like this when i was 7 or 6 lol!

  • I wonder if he knows that if he presses both the jump and attack button at once he can knock the enemies out in one blow. OMG the memories of this game. :D

  • Great game! Good memories, good times, kick ass music!

  • This was so much fun when I was a kid. Good memories.

But dude. You got the shit beat out of ya XD

  • my god u suck

  • My god you sucked :D

  • before you start the game type, b a b a up down b a left righ b a start.

  • I just reviewed this game. Check out the review on my channel.

  • It dosent look fun

  • And it ain't much fun, either.

  • its too bad that alot of the animation was missing from the arcade game, but it was still a good game to play on the nes,way better then the fists tmnt.

  • crap typo!i meant first.

  • Explain your point, please. If someone would say, you are shit. Wouldn´t you like to know why?

  • Broken Difficulty

  • Wow, how stupid is that? Broken difficulty...you just suck at this game that´s all. There enough people like me, they can beat that game with closed eyes. Don´t make the game responsible for the fact that you just suck.

  • Dumbass, it's not the fact that I suck at it. It's the fact that they game gives you bullshit. Played the Arcade version? That version did not have obstacles than only hit you and not your opponent, in the NES version it does. Not to mention in the NES version, the bosses have more health than usual and the first level was very long. And the Bonus levels suck.

  • And I really hate assholes like you, who love games for ONLY their difficulty. Anyone who hates their game "sucks". Guess what I don't fucking feel like wasting my time playing shitty games that suck over 100 times to beat it. I'd rather play games worth my time, like Streets of Rage or Final Fight, not shitty garbage like TMNT2, that game is fucking pathetic.

The Arcade version was good, why did they fuck it up?

  • Simple solution for you (because you like it simple): If you can´t handle it, just don´t play it. My god, and you´re calling me an dumbass, kinda ironic.

  • First of Cubical, calm down, an internet pissing match only makes you look worse in this argument.

I'm a little late with this, but this game was a good port and not very hard if you knew what you were doing I used to be able to plow through all the stages minus the technodrone without losing a single life, (Although I needed all of them against Shredder) It's all about basic strategy.

  • Anyone who is a hardcore expert can beat this game with no problem. However, if the person never played this game before, they WILL get their ass kicked because the game spares no one. The challenge is more cheap and unfair than entertaining.

  • And if you complained about Deadly Towers' difficulty and I told you that "you just suck at the game", how would you respond?

  • First off you're making a false dichotomy by forcing me to either say, yes or no to your answer in which you've already chosen the appropriate responses to.

So let's go out of your narrow minded box and say that I'd just see if it's possible to beat the game, or if the AI is inherently abusive of it's inside abilities.

And the fact that you must vote me down also shows how infantile you're acting.

  • Just making an anology because everytime a "good" hard game gets attacked, it's the person and not the game. The same does not happen if a "bad" hard game gets slammed. So that's why I posed the question.

Any game can be beaten with loads of practice. It just so happens that I have no patience to get the amount of pratice I need to beat the game.

Also, I like how you are throwing me subtle insults as if I was a lower being. Cut the bullshit because I ain't buying it.

  • Well I never played this 'bad' hard game you're talking about so I can't pass judgement.

As for your own 'issues' I would suggest that you is to invest in a Game Genie, Action Replay or Gameshark you lazy bastard.

  • I already beat with said devices and saw everything the game had to offer and it was not good.

  • You are speaking the truth my friend. This game is Cack (and notice I gave that a capital C). Bullshit obstacles that hurt you and not the enemy is not my idea of good gaming. I mean for christ's sake if these crap games just get labelled good then what incentive have programmers ever got to improving glitches? Hey I tell you what let's all go play Jekyll n Hyde, come on Blacknight and Progfan, let's not be lazy. And hark at you Blacknight, what were you saying about not havin a pissing match?

  • Also, what I particularly love in this game is how whenever you walk near an enemy they just grab you and there aint fuck all you can do about it. And you lose energy too which is odd. I'm guessing maybe they rape your bum hole or something? (Blacknight and Progfan? Maybe you are able to help us with that?) You're obviously gay lovers of some description. Hey do you guys eat Marshmallow pizza and say Cowabunga? Can I join your Turtle Club? Pleease. You pair of geeks. Everyones allowed an opinion

  • And just one final thing on this groundbreaking, well polished game. Try fighting without pressing a+b together + see how far ya get. Cos for every 1 punch you land on the enemy they land 1 right back on you. Unless ofcourse you punch them once, back off, and then return for the 2nd punch. Yay. That's a fun thing to do on a fighting game isn't it? (not) Why on earth not just make the regular punch as strong as the holding of a+b? Fucking stupid. In the words of the AVGN. This game boils my piss.

  • Your retaliating against them which tells me you are offended by their comments. So I guess you are the facist hippocrite.

  • english plz

  • It says Video of TMNT2 the arcade game for game forever

Muy bien video Cuando era un niño a mi gusta mucho juegé ese video juego

  • haha nice 1
