I don't think he does have a point. Even without a union, if Rams fans were to complain about a buyer to the owners, then it is in their interest not to sell to that buyer. The owner wants to sell because they don't want to manage it anymore, but they do want it to succeed. They have built it up for years. That is how private ownership and investment works. It is totally up to the discretion of the current owners and/or the governing board.
