From what authority or understanding do you come to re-interpret "their" religion? Western hippocracy will seemingly never end to rationalize even the biggest bull. @KingTingRolloTong First of all, according to Buddhism all thoughts are the ego. Ego is what gives you your sense of you. If there were no ego there would be no thoughts. Second of all how would being "reincarnated" into a machine be any different than being reincarnated as a human? Neither forms of existence are Superior to the other for everything that exists is an expression of Buddha nature.

@JocastaWoolfolk Nobody is 'forced' to have children or family but it is frightening to see that you seem appalled even by the idea of the natural cycle or the 'meat machine' as you call it. Love this clip from an amazing man, so far ahead of his time. Transhumanism, the melding of humans with machines & computers is coming. It has already begun with prosthetic limbs that are stronger than human limbs. Smartphones, that access vast knowledge, will shrink to microchips that can be implanted in our brains. Of all alive today, this man with his love & compassion for all beings, is the one I hope will live on by whatever means are available.

@jamminjoy to put this rubbish of an old enigma online was not intended to be an advertisement for the freaky singularity hogwash and dreams of people uploading themselves into computers rather than have decent children and educate them well, raising them as heirs to what they leave behind. @KingTingRolloTong Buddhists believe that literally everything that exists is a manifestation of Buddha Nature i.e. the universe. So being reincarnated as a machine is already a possibility. Being reincarnated as a metal hinge on a hard drive is a possibility. This video is very silly because it shows a complete lack of understanding of Buddhist philosophy.

When you touch something you are really just feeling a version of it created by your electro-chemical nervous system, which your brain has learned to interpret.
