  • wow

  • THIS EXTRAORDINARY MAN IS ONE OF MY HEROS. I watched the tv coverage of this miracle. Some said that he was the only one who could have made this possible. I hope that all of those aboard are well. BRAVO "Sully" and your courageous crew.

  • some people got major balls. nuff said

  • my grandpa was the pilot captain .sully

  • I know why they make it that day, that was my birthday. ! :)

  • my aunt was on that flight

  • It’s real sad that pilot himself, NYC Mayor, Mad Mike Bloomberg didn’t let "National Hero" Capt. Sullenberger drop the symbolic ball on New Years Eve at Times Square, instead he had Lady Gaga do it…. Goes to show Bloomburg has no honor, morals or ethics.

  • why are there thumbs down?

  • Airbus FTW!! Great planes and great pilots are the formula for miracles, God has nothing to do!

  • @Semeiron God has plenty to do....who do you think put the damn birds there?

  • This was the first time anybody ever used floatation device in a plane crash sucsefully

  • most amazing aside of the "watering" (landing on water) by captain Sullenberger III,was the immediate jump into action to rescue by th ferry boats and their captains and crew's,followed by NYPD FDNY and others

  • The thing that got me was there was no "Oh what do I do?" on the captains or crews part. It was "OK, bad situation, remember your training!" and everyone survived.

  • How did they get the plane out. Tug boat.

  • @Deadhawk99 I'm sure the plane is still down there....until a salvage crew goes after it...at which point the airline will sue for its return:)

  • @pauliexcluded1 i'm pretty sure its out of the water already, they moored it to a barge or a quai for a while and then they lifted it out with a crane, it looked almost airworthy even after that :P

  • I was supposed to be on this plane with my daughter, we did not listen to my mom and we flew through Chicago instead that day, it is the only time i have never listened to my mom. She is a flight attendant 45 years proud, and still, I didn't listen. WE are ok with that but Sully is the man and those flight attendants are heroes! and the second captain!

  • and God!

  • those birds were clearly muslims!

  • @capio78

    HAHA! how superficial.... my God

  • is the bird alright

  • how terrified could the passengers be?.. if i was one of them, i think id die of heart attack..

  • lots of things will happen to america because america have no blessing what they do is behind peoples back they stab them they show fake careings

  • the captin is a boss

  • im so thankfull that nobody died on this place crash.the piolt was smart and should be thanked very much

    :)

  • TITA-air-NIC

  • Thank you brian60093 for posting such an awesome video. Really great quality shots, just an awesome compilation. Well done!

  • my grandfather was on the plane

  • there only 1 problem that planes comming out of his paycheck

  • @MrWildECoyote1 LOL!

  • @Kuklamoo1 he did a real good job and yes saved alot a people I think 1 person I cant remember who someone broke there back apparently not sure whom, but yes this pilots good i still remeber this very well

hats off to this awesome pilot dude

  • The pilot was an ex USAF pilot thaw how he landed that I dont think just any pilot could land that

  • River landing are the hardest things ever. if you come at the wrong angle youve fliped you move the to the left or right a bit you flip. the pilot had some serious skill

  • First thing I would've yelled "My luggage!" lol.

  • @Rattnuff Planes float because the air inside them keeps them floating if it had no air in it it would sink but since it has air it can stay up :)

  • I dont think we should take wat happened der 4 granted or as d work of a man,it was divine intervention,d finger of GOD.

  • THAT PILOT WAS A HERO, PERIOD!

  • Comment removed

  • 68 people were trying to fish at Hudson River.

  • how come these pilote he land in the sea instaed of the airpot?

  • @marshalllucky With the condition the engines were in and the altitude, the pilot realised that trying to make it back to the airport was risky and figured that landing in the water was the better option.

  • Hmmm I always thought there was TWO pilots...no recognition for the First Officer huh?

  • HERO!!!!

  • i heard this song in one film... can anyone send me the name of this song?

  • @damian8771 :) brave hearth

  • so planes float or is it just shallow?

  • Man, I repect USA...

    Hail America.

Thank God, there were no whales, dolphins & sting-rays where the passengers were waiting for rescue.

  • that pilot isss... A LIVE A

    SAVER

  • @MrRedrobin4 hahaha lol, ikr. like i never feel sorry cuz america has got pilots like that and good people that operate at amazing speed. but as for the goose.... aww

  • Pilot should be given a medal for this.

  • @MrTunner1993 he was

  • terroist bird

  • It wasn't JUST Sully...he says so himself. It was also JEFF SKILES, JEFF SKILES his first officer who talked him through the check list.....and flew the plane into the birds making Sully a famous man!! That's Jeff himself that says that too. Go see Sully and Jeff in Oshkosh Wisc. give a GREAT speech.

  • did anybody get the peanuts out?

  • @TheJimsock i saved the peanuts

  • It floats :)

  • Airbus may not make a good glider - but they make a great boat!

  • my grandpa was on that exact plane

  • Did they ever get there luggage back lol? Mat Selvey Saffron Walden Essex .UK :)

  • Makes you wanna cry

  • who can dislike this?!

  • Those people got the 2nd chance that day.

  • Why does everybody forget about Jeffrey Skiles, he did his job as good as possible. They saved those people due this great teamwork, they are both heroes.

The press payed too little attention on this amazing guy.

they are BOTH my heroes: love Sullenberg and Skiles ! :)

  • Good evening. This is your fucking captain speaking

We will soon be reaching Hudson River

Please undo your seat belt for take off

You are now free to smoke about the cabin

  • God Bless that pilot he is a Hero.

  • 1:58, that guy is laughing, thats the attitude

  • @duncan7599 wikipedia isn't true and no he couldn't the FAA even said so and the legal banking rate of a 320 is 20 degrees it takes over 4 miles to turn around he was less than 3200 feet off the ground he had no speed no altitude and no where to go he's in new York what if he tried and hit the ground

  • do people have no sympathy for the birds ?

  • the captain is so heroic

  • I never flew in a plane before and Im 13 years old so Im no FAA expert but I live and was in school just a few blocks where the plane crashed in the river. But I heard from a pilot that Captain Sullenberger could of landed back from the same airport he took off from and saved the very expensive plane. Why isnt anybody asking these questions.

  • @duncan7599 Hey kid, tell whom ever told you that, that he can jumped in the river. He has no idea what he is talking about. For your information, For the pilot to return back to the same airport, he has to have sufficient attitude which he did not have. Don't you think that he would have if he was able or do you think he wanted to crash in the Hudson. I know that you are a young kid, but your statement is really, really dumb. Also, I can't believe you heard that from a real pilot.

  • @CaptainArt777 Some Pilot you think you are. More like crash test pilot. My pilot friend showed me the official FAA investigation report that says Captain Sullenberger could of made it back to airport. Google it, its all over the internet. 4 out of 4 succesful tests on flight simulators showed he could of made it back. And I never should of posted my age on my chennel or comments cause I always get the same response from old farts such as your self on you tube saying Im to young to understand.

  • Be glad that the pilot land perfectly.....

  • @duncan7599 Flight simulator is a simulation of the event, dumbass, you have to also think about weight and wind and all the other factors. nothing compares to the real thing. A good emergency landing is when noone is killed and a perfect emergency landing is when you save the people and the aircraft. You should ask the pilot what he thought actually watch the whole thing again and listen. He says UNABLE!!! and when you are the P.I.C. it all is in your hands. Ask the pilot not the paper FAG!!

  • @duncan7599 You are 13!! Balls have probably just barely dropped and your voice is cracking. You only think about chicks you can't get and how badass you are at call of duty. Its a little different when you are responsible for lives and millions of dollars in equipment. You will understand when you or if you make it to adulthood.

  • @duncan7599 - Your "pilot friend" sounds like one of those "blow-hard" types who always crow about how they "could have done better" but no one ever gets to the see them put their money where their mouth is, conveniently. Even someone without knowledge of aviation/avionics can see that he couldn't have turned around at that altitude and made it back to the airport.

  • This is a great reminder to me. Thank you. I needed to see this.

  • sully can walk on water just like jesus :P

  • that is AMAZING

  • I just came

  • :50 walking on water...

  • how come all the epic things always happen in new york?

  • ...1:47 was the reason they couldnt glide back to the airport

  • @MERCE006 hahaha cruel but funny

  • @MERCE006 That is just rude!

  • @momonine53 - stfu and gtfo! take a joke for once sheshh!

  • @MERCE006 why so mean idiots? heartless bitches?

  • @MERCE006 That ain't funny... I would like to see you shit in your pants when it had happend...

  • @MERCE006 that was just fucked up hahahaha but funny joke

  • the pictures at the end are at charlotte! <3 I love charlotte!

  • I....live in Charlotte! :O I rememeber this!!

  • Imagine if he missed the river. How do you explain that one?

  • The pilot should be well taken care of, but the Govt. That would be the best happy ending....

  • Never a lack of fools willing to make drama out of events

  • @DictionRedaction I have almost been in a plane crash. You have no idea of worldly events that I bet you just sit at home and do nothing with your life and bitch about everyone and everything. but you never stop to look at your own life and how shitty it is. I bet if you saved 155 people you'ed be pretty happy too. So don't make fun of others till you do something with your life. DirtionRedaction. O and before you get up in my face. I have been to 14 countries and have fought in the war.

  • @DictionRedaction Never a lack of fools who fail to realize the weight of events.

  • THANK YOU PILOT

  • I also heard that they recovered the plane after it was guided into a river, so all of their luggages and bags were safe, too.

This was truly a miracle. Not only did everyone survive, but most of their belongings survived, too :)

  • best thing to ever happen to that pilot's career

  • You can tell who didn't pay attention to the safety demo. At 1:32 the 3rd woman has both sides of life jacket inflated. (only one side should be inflated) The 4th person has his life jacket upside down. Let me guess... these were the ignorant first class passengers too good for the safety demo.

  • Okay... now that we've saturated this site with religious zeal and agnostic/atheists thoughts, how about a truce. Sully was/is a very competent pilot who probably was praying to his chosen higher being to save his plane and all aboard. There are many things that are unexplainable, which some chose to believe are miracles, others just say coincidence. I pray/meditate but will respect those who choose not to.

  • I attended a free concert in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn last summer and the opening act was a comedian from Boston. His opening monologue was, "So, what about this pilot who landed that plane in the Hudson. All of a sudden, he's a hero??" Well, you could have heard a pin drop. I yelled out... "HE WOULD HAVE BEEN A HERO IF IT WERE YOUR ASS ON THAT PLANE!!" The crowd proceeded to boooo him right off the stage. We were NOT going to put up with crap like that.

  • fuck jesus, give humanity some fucking credit for doing great things like this.

  • @JackOCarnihan "forgive him Lord, for he knows not what he says"...

  • @maggielou84 thought you could think up your own phrases, but I guess you have to steal from Christ. I'm sure Christ would have preferred you used your own imagination and brain.

  • @lolaalex59 I realize you dont know much about 'Christ' so there for you dont know what your saying BUT to YOU & ALIALIMALI...its not me showing everyone that I dont have a quality education...in my first post I said nothing about shoving anything up anyones nose haha & Ive not preached on here at all, if you'll go back and read very slowly, ppl have ASKED me questions. I'll only answered them. But I LOVE how yall hate Jesus & you react to me with anger. Ignore me if you cant stand me!! LOL easy

  • @maggielou84 You are clueless, but then again, many people I meet who are "born again" are.

  • @maggielou84 Capt. Sully saved those people.

  • @janmadytay Agree. With the help of Jesus. I can share more with you about this if you like, email me at maggielou84@ymail.com

  • If JESUS saved those people, why didnt JESUS save some people on 9/11? Oh wait, the preachers already covered that didnt they. "Mysterious ways" right? Haha! Or maybe he doesnt exist! Or maybe he doesnt like to get involved with RELIGIOUS DISPUTES!

  • @bobisdark Well, as I remember 9/11, some ppl were saved on that day. I hate that you dont believe in Jesus but thats only bc you dont know much about him. I was the same way once. But he does exist and He will show YOU that he does when you get involed in His Word. Bad things happen to good ppl, we can not tempt God and ppl mess up their own lives with sin, not Jesus or God. This is why Jesus died for our sins, I can share more with u and explain some thgs, email me, maggielou84@ymail.com.

  • @maggielou84 preach at your local church, we don't want to hear your comments here. go somewhere else now. good bye.

  • @alialimali HAHAHA, I pray for you friend.

  • @alialimali Didn't Maggie-loo-loo say she wasn't going to preach in her very first post? Well, she certainly has a short memory. Stop shoving it up other people's noses. Damn.... even my aunt, who was a nun for over 75 years, didn't preach like this chick does. This is what turns most people off from religion.

  • @lolaalex59 If she was provided a quality education, she would have been dealing with much productive things. Suck it Maggie, suck it up..

  • @alialimali You say this bc you dont me and your not happy with yourself, I understand. Thats the difference between a child and an adult. You'll see one day. LOL. You can hate me if you like bc you dont effect me but JESUS (GASP, I said "it" again) still loves you friend. I hate this bothers you so bad but it only does bc you know you need him. I was once like you too...making rude comments to ppl for no reason, yep. Once your of age though, you'll understand more...peace out HAHA

  • @maggielou84 You're positively juvenile. I'm very happy with myself and I QUIETLY show my Christianity through deeds, not empty words. I believe that's what Christ wanted. Showing someone that they are loved is much more powerful than the words that you spew out all over this page. Go and volunteer at your local hospital that has abandoned crack babies and then maybe you'll be too tired at the end of the day to get on here and try to show everybody how Christlike you believe you are.

  • @alialimali PS...if yall hate me so much, then take your mothers advice and ignore me...simple as 1-2-3, assuming yall can count and all HAHA. (I came up with that one on my own, I dont think Jesus said it first LOL) You all are just showing me that I am effecting you in some way or another with Jesus. You say I shove but thats an excuss (I used to say the same thing) You ignore me and I'll ignore you! You know what they say about opinions & all yall commented to "MY" post, I was minding my own!

  • @maggielou84 Hate is not part of my nature. Frustration with ignorance is.

  • @bobisdark So how does it feel to burn in hell?

  • so did they get the plane out of water??

  • what happend with the a320 ??

  • squadala

  • @gnarlyandy1 LOL what, not al-dente?

  • im happy

  • Chesley Sullenberger is a great hero. As are the NYPD, FDNY, Coast Guard, and local ferry boats who came to the aid of the passengers and crew within moments. This was almost 2 years ago, but it's still cool!

  • @rickbrownell All involved were heroes. The passengers who helped each other out of the plane, the crew, the rescuers.... the only negative individuals were those damned geese.

  • the captain deserves a bloody medal

  • amazing

  • Whish every pilot can fly that well.

  • I was on arlanda airport (stockholm, sweden) waiting on a flight to umeå (northern sweden) when i first heard of this :3

  • Cap-Pilot speaking, abandon the air-ship!..hope that they all ok..

  • Wow. Awesome Pilot. Bless him and his family. Thanks, to him 155 other families are not at funerals.

  • Watching "Hudson Plane Crash What Realy Happend?"

  • This is lovely, lovely really.

  • Dun say about that KLM captain... He is a fucker... Refuel so much for wad???

  • Is the airplane out of service now ?

  • @sam9524 The plane has returned to service, although it is no longer operated by US airways, nor is it used for flying. Captain Sully and Captain Jeff purchased it, and now use it to take people on jet ski rides on The Hudson!!

  • @Outlaw1257 huh ? wow you seroius?

  • @sam9524 NO!! ;o)

  • Now I am pretty sure the Captain of the plane was very experienced but for no one to get seriously hurt or killed is miraculous and all I can say is Thank you God.

  • @adrianryb I'm 100% sure you are American. Dude what did God that nobody died? You guys believe more in God then your doctor. It's just sad, and always that god bless you all, just horrible. Just think man. How can God save that poeple in that plane. Why didn't he rescue the bird that flew in the plane, then all this shit didn't happen smart-ass.

  • It looks like they were standing on water... That's beast.

  • They have one men to thank...Jesus. For sending them Sully and for saving them all!! God is Great!

  • @maggielou84 God is not real

  • @chrisbloy123 Im sorry you feel that way. If you would read a KJV Bible, you would see that He is real. Im not trying to push Jesus on anyone, I just 'know' that he is real. If more people would get more involed in His word, He will show you that he is real! ...just saying.

  • @maggielou84 How will you show us?

  • @maggielou84 OH GOD... Your version of the bible. My mom's response to people who bring up the bible is "WHICH ONE????" There are so many versions and variations of the "WORD" She also adds, "Show me the ancient Aramaic or ancient Greek versions, because they are the closest to the accounts written by the apostles. AND are you an avid reader of the Gospels that didn't make the final cut??? Or are you pigeon holed into only what your church tells you to read?

  • @maggielou84 If god is so great, wouldn't he have had the plane miss the birds in the first place?

  • @JP84CE1 Not really. One thing we learn as Christians while studying God's word, is that bad things do happen, no He doesnt save everyone from terrible things happening to them, People mess up their on lives by Sin, We can not tempt God. As far as 9/11, Murders and starving children in the world...the only answer I have is life still happens. We can not question why didnt Jesus keep the plane from hitting the birds and not question why their are people starving. I can share more with u, email me

  • @maggielou84

The people aboard Sully's flight were saved because of Sully's expertise and composure and by the circumstances that they were close to large bodies of water. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Worldwide, in 2009 1,103 people perished in 122 air accidents.

    In 2008, 884 in 156 accidents

    In 2007, 971 in 147

In 2006, 1,294 in 166.....and so on and so on.

Using your argument and applying simple deductive logic, they had no-one to thank. Not even Jesus. Ergo, God is not great.

  • @milosit I hate there are so many ppl that dont believe in God & Jesus. But Im not trying to push Jesus on anyone. As being a Christian, what Ive learned from studying God's Word is that bad things still happen to good ppl, we cant not tempt God, ppl mess up their own lives by Sin. As far as these ppl dieing, another thing we learn as Christianns...life still happens. Thats why Jesus died for our sins. I can share more with you and explain, please email me maggielou84@ymail.com.

  • @maggielou84 Jesus didn't do the scheduling for flight 1549. You are so out of touch with reality. Did Jesus give my brother the knowledge to talk down a young pilot during his first solo flight when the kid froze? NO... My brother attained that knowledge through school, flying, teaching and working for the FAA. Through his expertise, he talked down that pilot to a safe landing. Once down, my brother walked back to his station and was taken aback by the praise he received. A true Mitzvah.

  • This man is a hero (:

  • The right person at the right time - works everytime

  • @oomblikkies and river in right place!

  • This was a warning to Bank of America, who had over 20 employees on-board. If God did do this, he doesn't like Bank of America.

Hell, I don't like Bank of America either!

  • That's amazing they all got out safely. I can't believe it :0

  • Great video; very moving music, thanks.

  • great talent!

  • what a fukin hero great great man saving so many people quick thinking hero pilot u da man 4 ever god bless you sir

  • Way to go Capt. Sully

  • He da man.

  • what is the pilot´s name?

  • This pilot is MAN!!!

    Этот пилот - ЧЕЛОВЕК!!!

  • This is not a plane crash, this is a perfect landing done by a great pilot.

  • @jenijeniix You are exactly right! I wish people wouldn't call it a "crash landing." From all angles that I have seen, Captian Sully brought the plane to a "landing."

  • MY RES``PECT TO THAT PILOT!

  • the one who verry brave pilot make a decision to make landing at the river...

    safe all 155 passangers...

  • Damn Taliban Birds Attacking our planes Obama needs to do somthing

  • This pilot is AhMazing !!!

  • the hudson hero

  • GOD is everywhere and he has a special purpose for everything...i heard that some couples i that plane before the crash they were nervous and were not christians....but they heard some time ago about accepting jesus as saviour for salvation.....so they did it and started praying....THATS A PURPOSE!!!
