im excited for this year! :D last year they kidna mushed togheter the up to 18 in and 2 foot together :D

me too! i cant wait! yeah and they mushed some of the 2 footers with the 3 footers and the 3 footers with the 3 foot and over people! it was all messed up. i'm doing 3' and over this year, what about you?

I might be going to this camp next year! the only issue is i fell and broke my arm about two weeks into my jumping life lol do you think that since im only jumping about 2" and not steadly and not confidently this camp would be o.k? Im working really hard on building my confidence up again though!

The dates for this summers sessions have been set for:

Session I July 5 10 Riders 14 17 years of age

Session II July 12 17 Riders 10 13 years of age

omg i loved hollandaise!!!!!!! however, the camp kind of annoyed me because the positioning went against everything my trainer has been teaching me xD

if ur talking about the people leaning a little forward...its not normally what were taught BUT!!! one of my more advance trainners have kids lean forward because it helps them get there arms/legs in place so they can latter sit up! so even if it was going against what ur trainner taught u it probably helped some little errors in ur form :D

well, I was learning more full-seat riding. It just annoyed me that they were like "you'll hurt your poor horse's back if you sit on it" i mean... honestly? that's kind of a dumb thing to say. I understand the reasons like the forward seat keeps you with the horse, but the reason they told me was stupid in my opinion haha.

This camp rocked!!!! Alexa and I both loved it. We, obviously, were in the hunt seat barn, but I have friends in the Saddleseat barn that also had a great time. If you have any more specific questions, please feel freeeeee to ask!

That's a great question! I would really like to know the answer! Next year both of us will be in the older group and I would like to know. I would hope they would still jump! If your in the High School group or were, please give us any tips on how it was or what you would do differently! Or is it just the same as the youger group?
