  • Good training, even if you're going to work with a $45000 Sony PDW-900 XDCAM professional HD Camcorder.

  • Excellent video

  • I could use this... I am known in the PLJ field as a 'whackinhut' camera guy. I've got my dinky little XR520V consumer cam, and a slightly more serious AX2000. But you won't see any of my stuff near a major or even minor network yet :)

  • Tape is quickly becoming a thing of the past. Video production, whether it's SD or HD, is moving to solid state or disc. Similar to okarche, I work for an NBC station that uses Panasonic P2 cards (solid state). You're hard pressed to find a tape deck in the building, we only have them for when other places send us stuff on tape and we need to transfer it.

  • @bumba220 yah tell this Quentin Tarantino. Inglourius Basterds is filmed on film ;) the problem with digital is the storage. One click, 180million dollar gone... thats the problem Hollywood is tryin to solve now.

  • @NikkLJs The film world is a different story altogether, we're not talking film making, we're talking television. You do make a good point though.

  • Love it, as a producer/shooter/editor and former peacock promoid. But I must ask: Why does SKY (a British company) use a US bootcamp/DI scenario? Would the Limey equivalent be too Monty Python? Or is this just the USA version?

  • This is my camera.. there are many like it, but this one is mine...

  • This is extremely clever... made me laugh because I am Combat Camera in the US Air Force

  • geras

  • Brilliant!

  • Thats funny !!! Good stuff...were those 'tape' cameras ?

  • @joecam147 all tv is still shot on tape,

  • @0escape0the0fate0 Not true. I shoot for a CBS station with XDCAM Blue Ray.

  • @okarche74 , true,

  • @joecam147 tape is INDUSTRY STANDARD. Even for HD video

  • Genius!

  • NICE! Except for the few fellas carrying the camera the "movie way" and not the correct way.

  • @chris8video they're still trainees

  • LOVE IT

  • all cameraman are fat

  • @eaglesdare318 so is your mother

  • @eaglesdare318 - not me! (anymore anyway. lol.)

  • Did you hear about the soundman who locked his keys in the crew car?

It took 2 hours to get the cameraman out!

  • bestest.

  • As a former soldier and present cameraman, I approve! :-)

  • no woman is a cameraman?

  • @jogensjo One that I know of .

  • Nice work..... and respect from a promo maker.

  • only 400 cameras were destroyed on the making.
