no..it was 2 YEARS after the events of Quarantine that the world 1 died. the first series takes place in 2010, where as the world V2 was released in 2012. the events in G.U. take place in 2017.

That's becouse you had to watchthem all in order for it to make ssense. You had to read AI buster, then sign, then this, then The legend of the twilight, then the terminal disks, then Roots, then G.U then finish it off when Link comes out.
