I love Animal Collective and everything they do on their own. These guys are just pure and true cool doods with amazing talent and a knack to make great songs that we all love.

  • Ah, didn't realize the founder of AC is in PB. Good show! ^___^

  • @oweawry The founder of AC isn't "in" Panda Bear because Panda Bear is a person, not a band. This is a solo album by Noah Lennox AKA "Panda Bear" who is a founding member of Animal Collective. They all have fun names.

  • panda bear wasn't that influenced by Brian Wilson. fuccccccccccck.

  • what about the other half..

  • 6 people need help from their bros to show them good music.

  • one of my favorite songs ever. This isn't an official video though, right? You put this together? Good job. Reminds me of those early Beck videos.

  • @Juggity yes, you are a pretentious fuck aren't you?

  • this + 5 hits lsd = most amazing fucking shit i've ever experienced

  • @thedarkesthole try that while listening to pink floyd first albums x)

  • @JonasMigas oh I have hahahahah

  • animal collective and panda bear created their own era in music that deserves more appreciation than it gets. :)

  • 1:20 is interesting...

  • there is more respect to the 60's and the nostalgia of that era (the voice of panda bear is like listening to beach boys or the byrds). at the same time the electronics are as complex as the ones that aphex twin or autechre ever used. With a diference. Listening to these songs you forget that you listen to "electronica" or ambient music

  • @mousto1984 as complex as Aphex Twin? No disrespect or anything, but that is a pretty "wack" statement, pal.

As for Panda Bear, did he chop up "Pet Sounds", throw in some sound effects and a shitload of reverb?

  • @mousto1984 The electronics and song structures of Aphex Twin and Autechre are quite a bit more complex than those of Panda Bear. Not hating on Panda Bear though, complexity does not equal quality.

  • the first time i heard anything close to AC was "my girls". a year later i believe that this kind of music is a more like a try for electronic artists to represent the sense of 60's by using 21's century toolkits. boards of canada with their first album have also tried it and succesfully. now it seems that we have reached to another fase of electronic music

  • fazem-me lembrar os bons tempos em portugal nos anos oitenta sem saloios que vão para o trabalho depois para casa e depois para o trabalho e depois o mesmo e nunca reclamam por dias melhores ,bons tempos, lisboa está infestada deles.

  • The very finest. Perfect. Absolute. Untouchable.

  • Take a few bong rips and watch the video for this song. Think about what issue each scene in the movie is taking a stab at, it's almost always symbolism and just think about what it could mean. If you're not moderately intelligent/roundabout/really high you probably won't get most of them.

  • You can hear the Beach Boys influence in Panda Bear and Animal Collective.

  • huge influence...

  • @givemebackmydiamonds Congratulations on reading the Pitchfork Media review of this album and copying what you read onto here you fuck.

  • STFU FGT

  • I swear the first time I heard it I was all "WTF is this shit".

Then I listened closer. This song is awesome.

  • Well your opinion does'nt matter much considering your favorite song of the decade is probably like "The Climb" by Hannah Montana or something.

  • hahahahahahhaa

  • @CstormCity You know nothing of music.

  • @CstormCity You know nothing of music.

  • Really awesome video clip!:)

  • Amazing of course!

  • clearly great. hope Panda Bear makes many many more wonderful songs, the retro-Beach Boys-feel is a fantastic element both in his songs and those with Animal Collective. If there's some way you're seeing this and have not found 'Merriweather Post Pavilion', GET IT straight away.

  • sounds very much like the beach boys. right on.. im also diggin the 60's vids of pure americana. excellent. wish i was alive back in the 60's.

  • Well Panda wasn't either :P

  • judging by their music, no one would ever know!

  • BRILLIANT. For god's sake, will someone PLEASE post the full video!

  • Breathtaking song. Person Pitch is the quintessential blissing out/getting lost in deep feeling album of our generation.

  • totally and completely agree with this statement.

  • too bad it's not the entire song. gorgeous work nonetheless.

  • gorgeous! very nice! i just wish it was the whole song though. the song's like 10 mins. or something.

  • Brilliantly done!

  • Person Pitch is magic, it is my favorite album of all time. I can't wait to hear Panda's next masterpiece.

  • Very cool.

  • The woman at :53 is beautiful.

  • sounds like the beach boys

  • yeah this so awsome. fits perfectly. the

60's feelings are in all the images scratches poor negitives and instructional videos. 60's americana with buzz cuts very nice.

  • I LOVE that intro part, with the two hoots, very well done. The video seems to fit somehow.

  • this is my fave song!

  • sorry, it's not the same with shortened version, all the samples seem to glide in so unnaturaly compared to the full version

  • Love the song, but the video has got to go...

  • Great Job!

  • yo quiero

  • very cool

  • dobar
