  • first of all... Thanks to all our suppoters..to all the ones that calling our suppoters racist? you don't reserve to right to call that. we do however reserve the right critize and bash out they lies they want the world to belief. Tibet will prevail...by then they will be caught off guard...Free Tibet..

  • Kala and Kunsang rocksssss.........

  • Hold your horse!

I respect Da Lai Lama's wisdom and compassion.

But you and me have little in common.

You are a narrow minded racist!

    Period!

  • Anybody who demonstrate extrodinary humanity should be respected and praised.

If he seeks cooperation, than he will be China's answer to Martin.Luther.King. We have never had such character in our history.

  • Judging by your posts, I gather that we are on the same plane when it comes to the ineffectiveness of the CCP, both in Tibet and China.

I am pressed in my view that if China were to magically transform into a democracy, Tibet would no longer be an issue since it would be the Tibetans who would elect their own leaders. And also, the freedoms that come packaged with democracy would have a tremendous positive effect in its ties with the central Chinese administration.

  • Yheng, thank you for your replies. Your respect for the Dalai Lama is indeed a rarity among those on your side of the argument.

  • Yheng, thank you for you replies. Your respect for the Dalai Lama is indeed a rarity among those on your side of the argument.

  • P.S.

Provide what H.H.Dalai Lama said is sincer, i think he truly deserves the medal.

He is a inspiration to the world.

It is really shame that a American president awarded him the medal, but not a chinese president. Very shameful for china.

  • And if that does not happen that just show CCP is more ineffective then i thought. And thats just bad luck for all chinese. Cause we tolerated a inefficient goverment. And in such case you will have more supporters and CCP less supporters.

    Time will tell.

  • You have to deal with what you have inherited and improve upon it. Not break everything and rebuild it from scrach, that is Mao's way. And what SFT proposing is very similar to Mao's approach.

H.H.Dalai lama has just said that he does not seek Tibet independence and he is a chinese as well. And i pick CCP will meet him soon.

  • I dont like CCP, as do a lot of chinese. But i am happy that most people who dislike many CCP practices are doing their part to seek a pragamatic and concilitory improvements. If 200 years chinese weakness taught chinese anything that is revolution is the worst way to bond a nation and build a wealthy and civilised nation.

  • Reminiscent of how the all-powerful Soviet crumbled, the CCP is not immune to such similarities. Change is inevitable.

    BOD RANGZEN!

  • You have nothing to lose when suggesting "tibetans are better off in the republic". If the Chinese government is so confident why dont they just take a poll and find out how many Tibetans want their own homeland like they've had for centuries before the occupation. Then maybe you could post the statistics of the poll and I'd be tight-lipped if the numbers were in your favour, which is highly unlikely.

  • It is only but normal for people to either agree with your views, or disagree. If you say that I cannot speak for the Tibetans in Tibet, then I too, could counter your statement by saying that you cannot speak for all the Chinese. But I'd rather not get into the complexities that such statements produce.

  • The statistical data that you have posted is not disputed. But also keep in mind, numbers alone do not determine how happy or discontented the people actually are. How do you explain the iron grip of the PRC on Tibet? What are they afraid of if the Tibetan people are so happy as the government claims? Quite a contradiction there between their words and actions.

  • On the matter of HR being the same in Tibet as in China currently, I have to agree. But I have to disagree to your assumption that HR of Tibet was much more appauling during the pre-50's. Roughly equating the HR of both eras, I'd have to say they are a pretty close tie.

  • You say that what the Dalai Lama proposes is far more pragmatic that what SFT is aiming for. Then why is it that the Chinese government still labels the Dalai Lama as a splittist or a secessionist? The conclusion that we, the Tibetan people, draw from these mocking antics of the Beijing government is of its deceptiveness and lack of seriousness in the matter at hand.

  • Well, about SFT, those are your opinions and you are entitled to it, most definitely. I can do nothing in my power to convince you to look upon SFT with a different perspective, since the very nature of the organization's existence(Tibetan freedom struggle) is contradictory to what you have been taught and what you have been led to believe.

  • Last, again i will ask the same question,

    how can Tibet get independece?

Mass protest in Tibet for independence and china give up? Thats a possible senario. But i dont see that happen as long as living standard keep improving there(including human rights).

China collapse? This will possible make Tibet free. but again this is unliky to happen any time soon.

And none of the above senarios are very related to your organisations are doing.

  • Please help tibetan in tibet. they really need helps. Tibetan in tibet have suffering very much but they can't do much. so please do something to have them free thinking and free pray for H H the dalai lama

  • you guys are doing great work...keep it up

    ps. kunsung us hot!!

  • ...By far, the will of the Tibetan peoples are much greater, and more legitimate than the Chinese side's. The idea of a One China is a recent invention formulated by Mao and his associates to stir nationalism into the hearts of the younger generation of his time for his own self purpose.

  • 5. The idea of one China is a invention by Emperor Qin 2200 years ago, the first emperor of China, the man who unified china.

Since then the map of China is rather dynamic. If tibean will are strong, maybe one day there will be a himalaya republic. But the hurdle are very very high.

And i dont think it is necessary. The welfare of people is more important than racial pride. If tibetan people are better off remain within the republic, why bother break out?

  • 4. Tibetan people too are very staunch when it comes to the issue of Tibet and it being a sovereign state rather than a province of China. To get a clearer picture of the "force of will", you should take a look at both sides, not just the one you're representing...

  • 4. i know you are staunch and i respect that. But i think you cant speak for the 2.3 chinese national Tibetans. Some of them may think like you, but the rest are not. In the latest chinese idle show, a Tibean ethinical guy was top 3 and he was very popular. He is chinese, but a Tibetan chinese, just like other Korean chines, mongolian chinese, russian chinese, turkish chinese!

  • 3. The Tibetan people are materially better off since 1950. Your assumption that the living standard in Tibet is better in Nepal or India does not make it true.

  • 3. Let number talks. Source from CIA facts

    Income(PPP) 2006

    Neple 1500 USD

    Indian 3800 USD

China 7800 USD ( consider by 2007 chinese people will be 12% better)

Tibet is relativelly poorer in china, but shouldn't be too far away from the national average.

  • 2. Chinese practice - aka. Human rights violations and the illegal occupation of Tibet - is the same in both Western and Asian "standards". They are universal values which have been deprived of the Tibetan peoples, therefore hiding behind a pretense by suggesting that we should be judging Chinese practice in Asian standards is futile.

  • 2. Human rights and social justice are universal value. everyone in PRC, including the CCP, agrees on that. A lot of people in china are working hard to improve the human rights and social justice standard. This is something people should keep improving. But to make a fair judgement you have to compare with your past. Tibet HR standaard was appalling 50 years ago. And to the present date, Tibet HR standard is not so different from the rest of China

  • yheng, the numbered queries you have posed are indeed something to contemplate upon. but let me try answering them in the same manner you have questioned.

    1. Yes, a lot can be achieved form what SFT is doing. Full independence is viable. H.H. the Dalai Lama's opinions are his own. Tibetans are not forced by him to comply with the political stance he has decided to take.

  • thanks for your reply.

    Well mannered and logic.

We can agree and disagree on things

    1. What SFT is doing , sorry for the offence, is child's play. What H.H. Dalai Lama is doing, are more practical. He has seen all and experinced all, present and past. Many SFT members grew up in western countries and you guys have no experince of social law in Asia

  • 3. Are Tibetan people better off materially since 1950? The living standard is higher in Tibet than in Nepal or India, even Tibet is one of the poorest place in China

    4. Chinese people are very stanch sovereign issue in its entire history. So how, or when, do you see your effort resolve this force of will.

Just for the sake of mind exchange!

    No racist reply please

  • A few questions for SFT people:

1.can anything be achieved from what you are doing? Or can Tibet achieve full independence? If so why Dali lama has decalared not seeking such goal in public?

    2. How many have you been to China and chinese tibet? Or use a Asian standard, not a european standard, to judge chinese practice.

  • dang wuts up with this hatred here..THIS IS a great show for a great CAUSE..GO SFT

  • yheng63: "you freaking stalker"

who exactly is he/she referring to?

  • "freaking stalker" refers to heartfortibet who folllows me on youtube and leave riacist remarks. Apprently very narrow minded and short tempered.

Actually i should stop otherwsie he/she will send me another shit load of racist remarks.

  • who is this chinese guy???and why is he talking about tibet????whatis it all abt???

  • SFT Puttin tibet on the map and makin it stay there!

    proud of the organisation.

  • Kala, you are very funny.

  • once again, a freaking stalker with little heart that cant take a compliment. Worse, the compliment is not even for you!

P.S. You keeping using words like"being chinese" implie you are a racist!

So, sadly, you are a freaking racist stalker with little heart!

  • freaking stalker!

  • BTW, nice new intro for SFTTV. Also, Kala, hmmm... what is it that you're wearing?

  • On a different note:

I wanted to be there at the University Conference but unfortunately the seats were all full. But - looking at the brighter side - I'm glad that there are so many Tibetan students who still have in them instilled a sense of Tibetanness. More power to them!

  • It is vexing, but interesting at the same time, to see how the Chinese govt. is using such low quality propaganda which displays their desperation in wanting to defame the Dalai Lama. They've apparently run out of accusations; first they accused him of collaborating with the CIA, and now they've resorted to attacking his spiritual integrity thinking it would influence Tibetan Buddhists' opinion on the H.H. out there. Good luck China!

  • Apart from i am on the other side of this debate,i loved it

    kunsang! you are qvery pretty!!
