24 & 28-Color Palettes Review

I've read, heard, watched lots and lots of reviews on these palettes from CS, BH Cosmetics, Manly...which apparently they are pretty much from the same supplier (somewhere in China/HK) I know that a lot of products are made in China andthey are safe to use/consume...but when it comes to mass cosmetic production like these palettes...do they have QC routine? ... im not a chemist so ...

i know alot of gurus say its good and all..

but thats prob bcuz they dnt pay for it, and they only use it for one tutorial or review.

its not bad but its not the best.

like the darker colors are very sheer and move around easily..

and they dont last long

but there is a golden color that is absolutly wonderful.

so its really a hit or miss

@lilmems01 hey girl- i saw your comment, i have green eyes too, and i would say that purple toned shadows usually bring out my eyes.. or i do neutral smokey eyes with a pop of turquoise in the inner corner & in the lower waterline..and it makes light eyes look so bright. its my absolute favorite look lately (:

i just got the 28 and the 26 and the 15 concelear from celia on ebay pd 45 total with shipping, took 16 days but love em, they packed them very well. the colors are in diffrent orders than cs but i was hoping you would do an swatch then the mac comparsion on your channel? example, pic of the color than the name? would love you forever. i feel that willhelp lots of ppl who try to do the mac looks but dont have the mac products, if would be an easy guide. thanks so much. love what you do for us :)

for the 28 and 26 it was 32 total with shipping they combined those 2 but for the 15 concealar was sep and shipping i want to say was around 5 for that. i lve the product and soooo happy i got em, i was unsure bout the concelar and it goes on so creamy and holds all day, i have oily skin and stuff usualy just slipps off.

yes i ordered all 3 at the same time, i ordered them on thier ebay shop and they decided to combine the shipping 2 eyeshadow pallets but not the conclear pallet. i dont know waht the diffrnece was cuase it was sent all inthe same box and packeaged very well.

ya but im not complaining since i got it at a good price. you have to have an ebay and paypall account to buy, and when you do the buy now option it gives you a choice to contine shopping or pay, chose the contine shopping, ebay will realize if you go back an do mult buy nows if its from the same seller and make one invoie for you. hope this helps :)

@iloveukahlil in the search you must enter only the name of the palette (eg 28 neutral palette). leave the coastal scents out of the search. what you're looking for is the palettes that coastal scents has not slapped their logo on and claiming that they have manufactured. I saw this palette selling for 9.99 us. try a seller called 'abestlife' or 'joliee'. she's a trusted seller.

i looooove your channel. you make me wanna step my game up, you and korinne. lol. these palettes are actually mass produced for coastal scents and then resold by them. i found the same palette on ebay yesterday for 2.99 and 9.99 for delivery cuz i live in the us. it might take a week or two to get it but its worth it. after i watched this, i went on a hunt and found it,

Vanessaleesmakeup, it really depends on the palette. The huge palettes--like, the ones with 88+ colors--tend to have shadow pots the size of a dime. Sounds small, but you really do get a lot of colors. The medium palettes, like the 28 neutral, are quite similar in size to a MAC shadow; I've compared them, though I've never tried popping a MAC shadow in to the palettes. The "custom made" palettes you can get from many Chinese websites have bigger shadow pots than MAC's. Hope that helps!

I got my Coastal Scents palette and the one I ordered from Ebay on the same day, they are identical! Look, pigmentation, even the smell. You pay more for ship/hand when u order from Ebay(comes from China/Hong Kong) but if you order more than one, it's an awesome deal!

yes they ship amazingly fast and I've NEVER had a problem with them. Im sure most anyone else would tell you the same thing. But if you are willing to wait a couple weeks to recieve your palettes in the mail, you can get them cheaper on ebay by searching for example like 28 neutral palette and a ton will pop up

For anyone who's interested, Coastal scents palettes are mass produced in China. The exact same palettes are all over the place on ebay for a quarter of the price. CS are ripping you off.

You will be paying about 19.99 for this palette from coastal scents and then you have to pay additional money for shipping charges. when you order from ebay, you're paying about 9.99 for the palette and the shipping is 10. that's the cost at which coastal scents is selling that palette for on their site.

Do you use an eye primer? That really keeps on my eyeshadows. I do not know what I did without it. Now that I use it I just could not do without it now. You use less shadow and it stays put.

Coastal Scents doesn't make these palettes. They get them from a seller in Hong Kong and resell them for a lot more.

That's why you can find them a LOT cheaper on ebay.

Besides, Coastal Scents has a very bad rep with some of their customers, like EricaLeigh777 and MakeupSquare. They were really rude to them, and that's why I'll never purchase from them.

Pinkiecharm also won't purchase because they violated their privacy contract with one of her friends.

I love all of your videos!!! I must say that I have found that CS is not the only seller of those palettes. There is a seller on Ebay that sells the EXACT SAME THINGS FOR MORE THAN HALF THE PRICE! I would recomend the 24 palette because bright colours with darker skin tones looks really amazing. But the neutral palette would look great too!

They're a bit powdery, but it doesn't chalk up on you. Just use a primer as a base. The color payoff is great!

where are you... type in URBAN DECAY PRIMER, i only JUST (30secs ago!) bidded on afew on ebay... chek out how much they are going for where you are first... i GOOGLED "buy urban decay primer" and clicked on lotsa links to see where is the cheapest (including the p&p) and then went on ebay to chek out if i can save a few pennies... that one (urban decay) is GREAT though!
