  • nice video.. right! tree planting saves the world...

  • It just to show the importance of every part of our body. We may see them as nuisance, but they play a great role and sometimes as part of a defense system in our body. Nasal mucus/snot is produced to PROTECT our lungs from irritating and noxious substances in the air.

  • Uhh, isnt this GCSE physics?

  • The Oil companies are trying their best to stop free energy ideas from spreading to common people.

We need to put an end to this corruption ,start generating your own electricity now.

Look for the LT MAGNET MOTOR in youtube video search. Join the Revolution!!

  • The nose experiment was pretty simple.. ?

  • . The known universe 14,000,000,000 BCE
. Earth 5,000,000,000 BCE . Fire (applied) 2,000,000 BCE . Homo sapiens
250,000 BCE . The underlying law of nature (discovered & applied) 2003 CE
  • good video. jobs aare important!

  • check under his garage too!

  • she pronounced garage as garraige!! Unusual accent but I still Love it on women!! SEXY AS HELL!

  • She pronounced it correctly

  • This scientist is much needed in uk to be physics teacher in schools since many dont do physics ,even top physicist are good in explaining cosmology like a kid full of imaginations but when it comes to explaining mundane stuff like electricity ,magnetism and superconductor they are lost .

  • mucus is also in the stomach to protect it from the acid.

  • Brilliant!

This proves how electrifying everyday physics can be.

He has a "leg up" on his competition.

    Is science difficult?

    No, it's snot.

(I sincerely apologize for the sophomoric jokes. Really, this is an excellent video, even though the Hoovers suck.)

  • interesting

  • awesome!!

  • I used techniques of water treatment such as sedimentation and filtration to wash and clean rice before cooking almost 3 decades ago.Techniques of finite element analysis and boundary element anaysis to cut or scrape the surface potaos before cooking as well.Just a random thought .

  • I brought about 400 gram of sand from my holiday and has been doing soil mechanics experiments on strenght as well as on soil liquefaction ,let alone complexity theory,Keep the sample in my garage ofcause for further reseach.sandf can be dired and reused..

  • I participated in science education competition few months ago and i recognise Carol V as someone maths. In fact one video about maths i practiced before presenting at welcome house .

  • hhmmm

  • Mustsee: Johnny Hallyday Mon Fils. Live. Superclip!!

  • wooow

  • spoken like a true american 200609, shame everyone else is in the real world except for you

  • bogies are good for you just don't eat them.

  • she's cute as hell, but why does this video come up every time I search youtube?

  • hell yeah she is.

  • Don´t listen to this wiseasses! It´s a very nice experiment!

  • what a stupid waste of an expirement. This isn't revolutionary or anything.

  • Really?..I would like to see you on countdown working out

additions fast on screen like she does.

Dumb is the one thing Carol isn,t, shes been around 25 years plus and for that you need something.

  • the quality have to b better than that

  • Lol

  • i think she was on a little show called 'countdown' im sure she got a nice litle salary from doing that show.

  • Wait so he built a giant nose, made snot, hooked up 2 hoovers, collected dirt all to show that moisture would help filter more dirt? lol

  • Hey! I find that offensive. I'm British and I know what a toothbrush is. I saw one once when I was young...

  • I think we all knew that was the purpose of snot... A more beneficial experiment might have involved giant teeth and a toothbrush to demonstrate to Brits why exactly they (toothbrushes) exist.

  • All Brits have free dental care so chances are they have better teeth than most americans.

  • plant more trees save the world..

  • Yeah!

  • YAY

  • I'd say generally fairer skin types which lack protection against UV light.

And Americans love bacon too. That's why we're fat. ^^

  • apart from earn millions of pounds, write books, release video games and dvd's etc?

  • I love Cambridge University

  • Euk , I feel sick! lol

  • Afff.....massa....+ ou -!!!!!

  • Oh sch.... bin ich Interlelluel ... Auf die kommende Herschergenertion ...

  • I want to be a physicist. I don't think I spelled that right. Wow some physicist I would be haha

  • I miss you Carrol. Come back to countdown.

  • WOW! B careful.

    KCNonline (dot) com

  • now i see why cambridge is considered one of the top unis in the world

  • Snot is a good thing, keeps lungs clean and healthy that's good thing to know Thanks.

  • dude i totally want the recipe for the "snot" is it on a site you can suggest by any chance?

  • Wow this is amazing!

  • Let's make this guy head experimentalist of the obvious.

  • Do you means that you don't need to know how things work, and for you it is enough to know what things do?

  • This guy snot messing around.

  • hahah. "we have a beautifully snotted nosehair"

  • good

  • I'll blow my nose a lil gentler..make sure I leave some snot behind.

  • nice video, very interesting

  • Thanks, with this video I was able to get back to sleep.

  • what a waste of my time.

  • SCIENCE!

  • hello

  • I get more snot when I breath through my mouth, maybe try to incorporate this into your experiment.

  • mas o menos?

  • your HOTT. =D

  • Cambridge...big deal. I got my Ph.D. at ITT Technical College....its among the Ivy League here in the states.

  • 1st post....and cool vid...

  • Gross, but cool.

  • I thought the lady was going to be the professor :-(

Another thumbnail image takes advantage of me again.. :-(

Oh well, if she was the Professor I would show up to lectures more often. Instead of just cutting the school a check every Term.

  • Nice Video! 5/5 Stars :D

  • What is the 'snot' made of?

  • where can I get this snot that you have?

  • shes so charming! ;)

  • The Balloon experiment was really cool, but I think my 5th grade science teacher did that same presentation.

  • Some guy at cambridge uni did this!? I could have told you the answer before he even started the experiment! This is pretty basic stuff.

  • wowowo.

  • i've got hairy legs. that means we can save on electric bills

  • Well, THIS is fascinating (to say the least). Snot good for your lungs?? LMMFAO

  • PRIMERO

  • FIRST COMMENT LOL~nice vid

  • Never did I realize that snot was a good thing.

  • what if u pick out all your snot

  • It's definitely funny, but I'm not sure what the goal of this experiment is.

  • I don't have a degree or an english accent, but it seems this video has a serious 'duh' factor. Boogers catch dirt... like the goo on flypaper catches flies. Am I wrong?

  • plm

  • ???

  • that reporter looks hellla good

  • she is so coollll!!

  • "Why is nose snot is good for your lungs"

    What?

  • LOL! I would love to get the snot recipe.

  • stupid!

  • Thanks for that. Nice to have something educational amongst all the rubbish on here.

Thanks for the short footage of Carol as well.

  • Сопли из клея, волосы из железа. Что дальше?

  • This needs no improvement. The first 10seconds said it all for me. Life - under it ! But "Science ?" - no I don't realy have the time for it. Will it ever pay for itself ?

  • hey hi hi hi

  • point?

  • and a hot plate!

  • Me and my wife want a gallon of that snot. And will you throw in a couple of rubber sheets as well?
