I love all your videos, and am seriously considering buying this camera on Ebay. I am also interested in the XL H1 but it's more expensive and I don't see much difference in quality. In fact I like the quality of your videos more than what I've seen with the XL H1, so I don't know why it's so much more expensive. Are you being honest when you say you only use the camera settings and natural lighting? This is exactly what I need for a project I'm working on

@loverxofxarts It's hard to say, really. It's a mix between the beauty of the location, the shots, the lens, the music. When it comes to video, I think it's important to get naturally sharp images and work with the color while shooting.

I wanted to tell you I love your video!!! I have a question. Doing research, I read that this camera, the Canon XH A1 is the same as the Canon vixia HV30, unless you use the XH manually. Would that be true? Cause I have the Hv40 and it doesn't look like that. Did you retouch the color, or add a lens or something???

I also have this camera. I only complain about it working in low lights. For the money you can't expect much better though.

Great job keeping focus. I actually struggle with the focus at times when using the LCD. It could do with better resolution for saving time focusing.

24p is 24progressive for USA cameras and 25p is european standard.

It's not really a matter of wich is better. It has to do with the number of frames produced in one system and the other. USA uses NTSC, wich is 24frames per second. Europe uses PAL, wich is 25frames per second.

I used Zeiss ZF 50mm 1.4. As for light loss, RR2 looses more light, but if you're shooting outside you won't have any problems. But if shooting inside, always consider proper lighting.
