  • I have a lot of respect for this guy. One of my buddies used to train under him and became pretty handy in just one year - although admittedly he studied five days a week for 3 hours each time. Mr Sinclair seems miles ahead of many wing chun instructors. Seems to be very direct aggressive wing chun rather than the flowery stuff you see elsewhere.

  • Now THIS looks like effective wing chun!

  • You seem very practical and I can't think of anything I disagree with. My only observation is, like you said, you can't go all out or else someone will get hurt. I have found since inventing my robot punch arms, dealing with blocking a punch that is only 20 milliseconds faster, makes a big difference, so holding back may give you the perception of being able to block punches you actually can't, but at least you are learning body movement in reading people and in blocking, which is great. Peace.

  • Modern, objective, sensible... nice motto...

  • @Mr131211109876543210 This video is a 10. Thank you::: be honest to your students... luv it.

  • can i learn wing chun kungfu??

  • i do wing chun its a nice sport

  • I have just watched his siu nim tao form...looks like another former ewto student who calls himself master now. but I could be mistaken...

  • @seriousrampage I have never once in 8 years heard him call himself a master. He trains hard for the love of the art and loves to share his experience with like minded people.

  • Watch sensie youssef deeb and you will see the fastest man and strongest man in the world

  • You know whats really funny, when I was 16 I started my path to wing tsun (chun). I went to san antonio, tx for the summer to visit my mother as was usual, and I was looking for a school and found Sifu Sinclair's website and it i was the first site I was truly impressed by. I tried to find a branch in texas but couldn't and ended up eventually going to the Leung Ting version. I remember him having gaun-sau, pak-sau, gum-sau, and other tech's on there and i practiced them in the mirror. lol

  • Mr. Sinclair, I am a Wing Chun Sifu from The US and I just wanted to say that you are an inspiration to all Open minded Gung Fu men and martial artist. I am only thirty four and I have been teaching and involved in Wing Chun for almost all of my life. I discovered you and your organization many years ago. My students and I have very similar training philosophy and for many years others such as Sifu Francis Fong have inspired my training and my lifesaver well. In your case, we have never met onc

  • master can you explain the use of the knife? and how many ways you can cut the opponent? and the purpose of the hooks on the back..you have great control and great strength... my master is a student of yip chun he is unbeleivable as well but getting old

  • @hvias it's different for almost every style. And remember you won't see the bart cham dao except in the Ip Man lineage. It is believed that GGM Ip Man was the one who introduced the knives to Wing Tsun. In the Leung Ting system there are 6 sections to the knives. But it could depend on what time frame your Ip Chun and Ip Ching learnt the knives and from whom that would dictate what they use.

  • He calls himself a master? He leans in too much plus a real master would've taken him down faster

  • @ironman0594 You will be shocked if you touched hands with him. Please remember its just a demonstration and they tend to water things down sometimes. And you will find with forms that when you master them you can

    bend them to your will

  • this must be a very good teacher, nice person

  • brillant video, skill, teacher of wing chun

  • great control. interesting. thank you.

  • I forgot to buy this when it came out so I would really like to see part 2.

Its a shame that theres not that many good wing chun video's uploaded.

  • @roysanjuro

    Thank you for your comment.

I have now added Part 2 for you,

    Enjoy!
