  • Conta a lenda que Greensleeves foi composta pelo rei inglês Henrique VIII (1491 - 1547). A lenda refere que Henrinque VIII a fez para a sua amante e futura rainha consorte Ana Bolena. Ana rejeitou as tentativas de Henrinque de seduzi-la e esta rejeição é aparentemente a que se refere na canção, quando o escritor do amor "vazio". No entanto, Henrinque não escreveu "Greensleeves", que provavelmente é do período Isabelino .

    This beautifull song reminds me that i played this many times on my harp.

  • Whaou... I've never seen this style before... Since 12 years of learning, I've always put my thumb up, and others down... =D

    Gotta a version, a variation by Michel Capelier.

    Try to find it, it's pretty good! (and a little bit longer... 6'15" =])

    Ps: for crystalmumui, try first by learning with an Italian method, named 'Methode Grossi'; I think you can find it in every harp shop. ( I french so I can't give you advice where to buy it... :s)
