What a car, you must love driving this. I had a e280 and I thought that was nice but this would destroy it. Im now getting a c class but def wont be this one as I live in London and fuel costs twice as much.

Got to be in Germany you could enjoy that monster everyday, but you made a good choice, but looking forward to one day of getting a SL63 AMG by then who knows what will be out there but no more 6.2 L engines but I am sure they will have some monsters out there though enjoy your ride..

its a 6.2L V8 not a 6.3 the badge is just for heritage . the new upcoming C63 AMG is going to have a 5.5L twin turbo that would have direct fuel injection and delivering 20% power increase at lower fuel consumption, but i would rather take the naturally aspirated engine.
@haidcar oh where can i see the information of the new c63? and why do you prefer the naturally aspirates engine.. does the twin turbo engine delivery more power, aceleration and speed?? im asking this because i m gonna buy this car and want to know more about it.. the c63 is one of the best cars ever made by mercedes.. hope your answer man!! best wishes from Argentina!
@Danielsaba1965 the new C63 amg is coming out late 2011 the model will be called a M157 5.5L. it will have more power allowing faster accelerations. but the newer engine not going to have the same great noise produced by the 6.2, and that kills the fun,what the point of having a super car with no noise! turbo engines require the car to reach a cretin speed to kick in even if twin step up. so the choice is your if you want to have fun by the natural aspirt or wait for the black series in 2012

The car looks very nice. I have a 2010 Mercedes C 350 with double sunroof, amg rims, chrome door handles, start button (press the door handle to unlock car) and more. I love the black C63, it looks very nice, hope you have fun driving it. I want to tint my lights too, looks better.
That exhaust note is truly breath-taking. I reckon you should have gotten the Keyless-Go. Would look so much cooler starting the engine at the push of a button :D

Sick car. I was gona get one, but im waiting for next model. They need to find a way to accent the car and make it stand out more from the c300 (visually). The front grill could be sportier and they should have carbon fiber roof. but sick car
Great Car. Great video. I will be going to Stuttgart to pick my C63 AMG on 28 June 2010. Palladium Silver with all and I do mean ALL fo the options . I went for the Burl Wallnut Wood Trim instead of the Carbon Fiber Trim. This will be my 2nd Mercedes. I have a 2006 CLK 350 Cadet Blue. Keep it in mint condition. Can't wait to get in the C 63. just picked mine up a week ago and am obsessed to say the least! i got the artic white with black interior and the carbon package too! sooo sick i just got an ECU and Carbon wing, rear air diffuser as well as front! ill put a vid up soon

Thanks for all the nice comments. I have had the car for two months now and absolutely love it. I am registered for an event in Florida on Jan 3rd. One mile fast as you can go on an open runway. Can't wait!!!

No, it's a 6.2 liter engine. Check your specs. The "6.3" badge is simply paying homage to a famous engine Mercedes built many years ago. It is not actually 6.3 liters.

It was killing me as well. That is a long 1000 miles but once you can stomp it you will obviously love it. I didn't get the performance package. I figured I would go to jail at 156mph, 174mph only would make it worse, lol
I was coming home from the store last night. My engine has passed the 1000 mile break-in point. A new Corvette pulls up next to me at a red light. Needless to say, he will never underestimate a 4 door car again. Plus he was able to see what the rear of an AMG looks like as he was wiping away the tears.......lol
The gas mileage as you can expect is not good. If you have a car like this, gas mileage is not a primary concern. Yes it does differ depending on how you drive. I only have a little over 600 miles on the car right now. I am on my 4th tank of gas. I am getting about 16 on the highway driving normal and playing aroud in town as low as 11.
Nice car I have an 09 same color. Btw it's 6180 cc so it's technically a 6.2L. It's dubbed 6.3 in reference to a 80's AMG E sedan that actually had 6.3L. Also CF trim, back up camera and harman kardon are useless options. You should've have invested your money in a amg performance package and keyless-go.
I like the CF trim, expensive but looks great. Harmon Kardon is a part of the P2 package and has great sound. Also like the back-up camera as well or wouldn't have ordered it. I did consider the performance package but 4k same 0-60 times and no where to go 174 mph anyway. Hope you are enjoying your car.
No problem I understand what you mean. In Canada, the premium package (4500) includes karman kardon, keyless-go and parktronic...Hence for me no real need for a rear cam. CF trim(2500) and rear cam(450). personally i'd invest an extra 1900 instead for the perf. pack(4800) mind you that money does get you a retuned suspension, brake upgrade and limited slip diff. big differance!!
Mine was i think the last in CAN 09 model. I have all the options no but i got a deal 78K drop to 63,5K(new) cheers!
