im moving a building from 1.9 pre release 4 into the newest snapshot 12wo7b, for the same reason as you, for some reason when i load my new 12wo7b world in mcedit nothing shows up, but it works fine for all of my other past maps. any suggestions?

@lawwkyle there's a new map format called 'anvil' - so mc edit is not updated to work with that type of map. you'd have to load a save that has not been converted yet in 12w06 or earlier.

Just a note. Felling rather disturbed at all the game changes and tired of world corruptions when upgrading to new snapshots etc I have taken ideas from your worlds and these videos and have now changed my game style to always build on pillars or floating islands. This makes possible editing much easier using the method seen here. 8-)
