Most if you think that he memorizes(plays it exact the same live as on his soundtracks) every single solo he does. NOPE. None does that except those guitarists without musical theoriy and clue what scales mean.
Yup, that's right 7Finch. MAB does have set melodies in songs, but when it comes to solos he likes to change it up even when they are blazing fast solos. Django" Reinhardt is one of MAB's big influences, and it's been said that Django never played a song the same way twice, and he played complicated gypsy jazz.
I've seen a washburn with 36 frets but I'm sure that's not the only kind of guitar like that. I don't build guitars so I'm not exactly sure the reason why, but basically from what I can tell not everyone needs that many frets, plus your sound will differ depending where the pickups are, how much of the body is cut away to accommodate for the excessive fretboard, etc. That will also affect the tone.
I know the song has vocals with Nitro, but I didn't read the description. I assumed that this was after Nitro broke up. But still for me this is overkill. I mean he blows his load on the first song. By the first half hour I'd be "shredded" out. And I'm a shredder:)
No, Jims voice is NOT synthesized in the song. They used NO effects, completely dry. They did layer his voice in harmonies though, but all of the harmonies he recorded and sung individually, no effects.
It's actually 29 frets, although Michael did use a 36 fret guitar on the OFR album! His custom 'Rocket' Guitar is made of military grade aircraft aluminum.
Actually on the contrary, he shows off this guitar in his studio tour from Guitar World (it's on my favorites list) and he says that the guitar is very light.
HOLY SHIT

I disagree Thats the only reason he can play this shit and not NEED to memorize it. Its so ingrained in his mind it is natural.

no man its got to do with the Octaves... if you have 24 frets thats 2 octaves per string ...
MagyarRockerHonved 3 years ago
Because the frets would be so small and there is no need for producing that hich pitch cause it s not enjoyable to most people .
