When I was about 8 or 9, I found a glitch in the Egg Viper fight where you skip the cutscene as Sonic's riding up the rocket and when you start the fight, you will be riding a rocket up and you will randomly die.
I'm glad i got this game, but when i first played sonic, i had a choice between sonic mega collection and this. which should i have got first. the most hardest sonic games, that i'll rarely beat without level select let alone the chaos emeralds, or this amazing game that i'll never get at 100%. ps i still love the classics

I wish Sonic Generations had this boss. Make another Sonic game like this. Eggman being the REAL evil, not like recent games where there is a sudden change of bad guy and Eggman is good all of a sudden.
Out of al the Sonic games, This one's Eggman was the real definition of an Evil scientist, just listen to this music(lol) OR fight the Egg Viper OR hims talking to Tails after losing the race to the missile OR(lol) him wanting to control Chaos "God of Destruction"

Frankly, I still love this game. It's so cheesy, its lip-synched cut scenes are terrible, and some of the lines suck-but not Eggman! Not only does he refer to himself as Dr. Ivo Robotnik in game, he also had the best dialogue put in such a funny way. He was perfect then-comical yet the main threat, able to be taken seriously. The game wasn't that bad, really. I consider this game to be the last truly good 3D Sonic game (Sonic Heroes was average), at least before Generations, but I didn't try it.

On my 1st run through this game on Dreamcast, I kept dying on "Egg Viper" because I kept laughing and dropping the controller when Robotnik kept saying "Get a load of this".
I remember the first time I fought the Egg Walker with Tails. My baby sister came in and pressed the power button about half way through the fight. I was so mad......................ah, memories :D
