honeybeeman really? el p's got just as much charisma and style, if not more because of his freakin validity man. he's been around since damn near the 80's bro, el p's one of the original underground cerebral genius's man
i bought this cd when it cam out and i could never get over the last verse on this track. SOOOO flawless. FREESTYLING FOR THEIR GOD DAMN LIVES! this one out to the birthplace, the first day i inched beloew the surface and found inspiration! i bought this cd and a compilations called The Strength Mag COmpilation. i cant find EITHER one anymore.
i havent heard this in YEARS. I remember hearing this and collude intrude at about the same time...and i fell in love in cO flow. This is the bladerunner, futuristic typa shit that i love. Shit is d o p e. undergroud. ill.
I didn't say that it didn't, I know that, I've been a fan since Company Flow, it sounds extremely EL-P but this says that DJ Shadow co-produced and I can tell what parts were (unless I'm wrong). I wasn't up on this song. I almost bought this album but didn't and I don't have a lot of money so that's why I don't know. Did he? EL-P uses the EPS and Shadow used to use the MPC and I'm familiar with both artists production styles. Maybe it's the power of suggestion, I don't know everything.
"my peers I beg forgiveness, I just don't buy twelve inches, too many independents, they share the same resemblances, too hard to make decisions, I've built up a resistance like I'm fighting off a sickness, plus they just don't hold my interest."
Damn! This is dope! I wish that I had known about this sooner - I gotta get this. EL-P AND DJ Shadow on production?! Whatever happened to the Zach De La Rocha album? That would have been interesting.
nice AS A nice lady who un derstands engloiush. sweet shit that people dont give tima for. imagine that this track is a linguistic piece i.e masterpiece i.e youse is slaqaaagsd
