I used to think Southern was really naff back then, I watched with envy as my school friends who received Thames got shows like Space 1999, The Avengers and The Six Million Dollar Man but Southern just used to put on alternative things like Out of Town or The Saturday Banana. Ugh.

I think that This theme tune and credits were used from about 1978 until Southern's demise in 1981.
