holy crap! this piece is so hard! it is officially kicking my ass cuz we are playing it at my school...and im first chair flute, section leader, and im only a sophomore...that tells you a lot about the flute section doesnt it! and it is kicking my ass to the moon and back! ugh...the concert is in like a month D:D:

The flute section isn't that hard.Once you get the music's pulse locked in your head you'd know pretty much the whole piece. But several parts like the canon on measure 222 can be difficult and easy to throw people off. Also, trying to perfect the accents and tonguing in many of the woodwind parts can also be some work =p

yea, our concert is in like a week and we are getting Bradley Genevero come and conduct us and he like toured it around the world and i am SOO nervous! i can play most of the stuff now, just sometimes my head gets mixed up with where i am playing and i mess up...but it is getting easier which is good!
