I was an AF fighter pilot for 23 years and then flew for Continental Airlines so I have been flying since 1966. I still love it. In fact I took a couple home schooled kids for a ride yesterday. I taught a class on aeronautics and weather with a bit on our space program and then we went for a ride. They (age 9 & 11) really liked it. A private license costs about $10,000 today but a sport license is only about $4000. Lots of fun either way.

It was intense, so enjoyable. I put the video up on my channel. Yeah, I asked at a school and they said lessons were $3,000. I just don't have the money.
