I'm wondering how could he eat properly with those brackets chained from his upper jaw to his lower jaw. My doctor did that to me twice or thrice, and I tell you, it's very UNCOMFORTABLE! I cannot even put a spoon in my mouth or brush my teeth properly with those brackets blocking the way. I've been suffering with those brackets for 3 weeks. :'( I hope my doctor will no longer put those crazy brackets in my braces anymore! They're sooo annoying. >:-(

Having braces has a bad stigma but once you see the results you wish you had them sooner. Ive had mine on for a year now and LOVE getting them tightened. Once they are tightened YOU KNOW you know you are that close to the end and will have that smile you've dreamed of. At one time they found it necessary to create a pretty good gap in my front teeth...BUT once the next visit came and new bands were put on...within 5 hours that gap had all but closed...its amazing what they can do!

It's cause some people need to get a Palatal Expander to widen their upper palate before they can continue with treatment, this causes a gap between the 2 front teeth until they get top braces to close the gap up again
