  • is it just me or did the video rewind itself alot

  • @encue2k9 you're right. at the time of making this video i didn't have much film material so i have to rewind - sorry for that

  • i want to start parkour in england and im 15. me and my friend have been doing it recently but hes not always available. is it wierd for me to just run around doing parkour by myself? im scared people will say 'what a @;'#';./m when they see me :(

  • @RC367 just do it! who cares what other people say? get out there and rock all you can see :)

  • @RC367 i know that feeling! i´m 15 too but i am german (half american) but if my friend who is training me a little bit idont go outside and do it on my own! I only do strentgh training for parkour at home!

  • @RC367 i know that feeling! i´m 15 too but i am german (half american) but if my friend who is training me a little bit don´t have time idont go outside and do it on my own! I only do strentgh training for parkour at home!

  • guys! you should be sportive if you want to start parkour...

at first try to have a health and trained body... then learn the basics...

    this video:

not bad for the start ... good that you can already do flips... and in the start of the video you can see that the traceur has much power and mucles to "climb" up at the playground^^

    go ahead!

  • @daphne1960aoe first, thanks for your comment!

you're right about the health and trained body. I played several years soccer (and other teamsports), so it was a good "starting pack".

the flips yeah, not a part of parkour but nice to do it ;-). and i like ironic comments, keep it up :)!

unfortunately, I got some bad insuries (thx soccer...) and have to stop training parkour (and other sports for a while). but for all who want to start: go ahead and do it!

  • i have no condition at all ( i can run for 30 seconds most!)

i'm clumsy... what are my chanses in doing this... -.-'

  • when is best to start it??

  • @capmrc72 now!

  • my freind said if ur over wieght u cant parkour is that true

  • @graffiti199704 if you'r active probably not.

  • 1:27 If you call it soult so dunno i'm david belli [and half of moves is not parkour -_-]

  • take off with one leg on your kong so yu can get more distance

  • nice

  • Great job man. Just watch your landings and rolls (btw cool twist around). Oh, and frontflips? You be looking at freerunning, not parkour. Big difference.

  • i live in shebly NC i need a place to learn parkor do u know one or cuold u help me find one i live beside a mall so is that a good place to train

  • man, i'm from switzerland. no clue where you can find a good place. search for an area with some easy spots fr train the basics.

  • amasing all the americans that see videos and just assume the person in it is also american...lives in their area, and is desperate to help them. its nuts

  • hey i have just started parkour and i have 1 question. because i am tall... is this a problem?

    please reply!!!

  • no, why do you think?

with training is everything possible - that's my opinion

  • look... when i roll my back pains! what i can do?

    practise?

  • does it hurts only when you roll?

you should practice the roll for long, even I still practice it every week. that's more than necessary for me with my knees.

  • yes when i roll. end sometimes my shoulder!

  • aight, so it has to be your roll technique! practice as often as you can and if it hurts, stop! wait a day 'cause your body is the most important thing to do parkour!

  • hey i roll in grass to practise and i dont pain now!!!

    i am exciting!!!

  • where did you practice before???

  • inside my house! :s

  • wow... you dont think that might have been y?

  • same as I thought...

  • nice.. look up : kong broken table.. its a crappy kong of me

  • u hace the guts do jump who high distances nice job !!

  • never thought about doing rolls in the snow. is that a good way to help learn how to do them? i'm still sucking at getting my rolls to be smooth, so maybe that would help

  • same did I, until a little bike-accident :D but it's definitly a good way to practice, if you don't fear some cold snow on your back ;-)

  • yeah, i can handle that haha. now i just gotta wait until winter for that snow :|

  • sure. yeah, waiting sucks. but anyway: have fun!

  • :) thanks

  • Nice front flips, watching yours helped me! I've gotta go find a hill now, though, lol.

  • Thx. aight, do that

  • Nice, stuff for a first video. One thing I would suggest is stay away from Big drops. You should build those up over time. Also, check out Urban Current for tuts. to perfect your kongs, vaults even more. Cheers!

  • thx for your critic. i know that I have to train my kongs and vaults, thats something everyone can see in this vid. and about the big drops, they aren't as big as it seems :D

  • Lol, ok.. Just take it easy =P

  • with the kongs, do you have to put your legs inside of where your arms are or outside?

  • inside

  • wtf. how do ya do that ; )

  • instinctly i think :D

  • i did it on this small trashcan but pretty high, and i put my arms on it and put my legs outside my arms. lol. it was a small on but tall so i couldn't really spread my arms much...

  • Your kongs were a little um... not so good. but you look like you got some decent rolls going on.

try and work on the transition between the front flip to the roll.

  • Noobish. How many times are you gonna show a frontflip in the snow? Big deal.

  • i'm sure there exist a doctor who can heal your problem. this was my first vid and if you don't like it than don't look at it!

  • Your roll is akward and looks very very bad. You are stopping your momentum completely it seems, are you sure you are doing it right?

  • i know that i have to train the roll, but thx for you critic!

  • you seem to be proud of that flip

you played it a few times

  • it was the first time I didn't fall :D

  • thats beast!

  • 0:54 is NOT somthing for beginners!!!!

  • that's right, but it's at my home and I jumped down there many years before I decided to do parkour

  • if you get the roll, and confidence to know you wont bail its not hard, proberly make it in the first week. if you had the guts :D

  • sure. you know, this jump is one of the first i've ever made. and i trained the roll for long to not get hurt.

  • ok don't wear jeans EVER when doing parkour. wear shorts or sweatpants, and learn to roll before anything. now I see this video was added a year ago. like other dudes said don't go out and think it's willy nilly Jump from roofs instantly. you also have to have the philosophy, be fluid, and train hard, bra

  • the biggest lesson. dont jump from higher grounds the your hip. It is because the first 1-2 years your body can´t resist damages that will happen if you jump too much. Stay save and gebin without higher grounds. Parkour are not jump from a higher level...Parkour are passing obstacles.

  • i wanna strt parkour but i dno how. theres no clubs in my area (highfields, leicester,in egland uk) any tips???

  • find like an old school playground or a playground in general, heck even a group of rails or somthing, thats what i'm doing, just climbing around, trying to strengthen up, although i do need to lift weights >.>

  • u gotta work on your kongs a bit but other than that great video

  • wow ur really good can i ask wer you learnt or did you teach yourselves

  • i just learned it by myself ;-)

  • keep training boys : ) you will come good by the time like me : ) '' finland ''

  • you know harder nice tricks you look like professional : D

  • THX! it's a long way to get professional, but I work ;-)

  • thanks :-)

  • hey man, cool moves, but you need to work on your kong and some of your other vaults. sorry for being a critic, but im only trying to help

  • thx, you don't have to say sorry, it's good that someone is being critic

  • guys .. what is kong?

  • the vault that he did on the ping pong table

  • ty for the help ;D

  • thanks a lot for ur video i think its great :)

  • i thinki it should help me thanks :]

  • Thanks, It Should help Me, I Want To Learn. Sick Of Skating :D Thanks.

  • train the basics as oft as you can! that's the most important thing

  • nice man, I have kinda got the basics down but not as good as you, i just have trouble woth flips & crap but w/e nice one

  • yeah, nice to hear. try it and you'll enjoy ;-)
