The animal control came and tied my dog up this morning...Back him into a corner and then tried to put the thing around his neck and he growled...so they said he was being aggressive....my dog was doing nothing but barking a few times at the neighbor...she and her friends have thrown rocks at my dog before and I know thats why he doesnt like her...But I guess it's my fault for having my dog out when she came on my property to steal things that werent hers.... If the dog acted out and bit someone, then obv the officer should shoot the dog. As a college student studying criminal justice and an owner of three pit bulls, I totally DISSAGREE with the officers decision. I can see that the cop has his own feelings about Pitbulls, as most people think negatively of them, but that doesn’t give him the right to think that all pitbulls are dangerous to society. It’s all in how you bring up the animal. Watching his videos it’s clear that his pitbull was well trained and a great part of the family.
