The game saves automatically..I know, I've played it and went back to the home/springboard, and went back to the game and I continued my game from where I left off. Maybe it's because of the newest update. And mine doesn't even lag. Not one bit I swear to God.

I agree! I loved Sonic and the version for GBA. I left it alone and stopped playing for two years and played Call of Duty, Resident Evil and Pokemon. I was thinking about hacking my PSP to add an emulator and again, I stopped playing. Now that Sonic is on the iPhone, I have only one thing to ask: Got 6 bucks?

honestly they did a very poor job here. The good thing about Sonic is supposed to be the speed of the game and the catchy music. Both of which are ruined by this poor port. The drops in fps and the distorted sound that come with those are just awful. With the power of the iPhone it should at least be identical to the genesis version if they bothered to go through a little more trouble.

In any case, it's not actually a port. It's basically an emulated Genesis/Megadrive copy of Sonic 1. The slows downs are being caused by the emulator itself, which in itself isn't fantastic.

Its exactly like the original Genesis game. Don't worry about the FPS. You may get a little frustrated for the lack of the B button at times but it makes for it with the classic game play.

Wait a minute, The game is perfectly fine, THE VIDEO CAMERA IS THE ONE STUTTERING!!

Take a look @ his hands when the sound stutters.

BTW, Sega was crazy to mess up a good anniversary for Sonic by releasing the GBA vrsn. just goes 2 show if sumthin aint broke, {{DO NOT}} FIX IT!!!

And this shows that the classic Sonic is all they have 2 offer when they wanna make big money. They won't even give sonic 2 or 3 a try.

Stutter looks like the video problem to me. His fingers on the screen stick at the same time as the gameplay. Don't think the game is the issue.
