Che was a murderous tyrant who may have started out with good intentions but eventually lost his way. He became openly bigoted with his belief that he was descended from a more pure line of hispanic than the darker skinned people he supposedly was trying to unite. He personally pulled the trigger on some of his own people without a trial. And this is a guy who left the medical field because he thought he could heal more people as a revolutionary.. what a joke.

'Hitler without a country'? What? Where was the racism, anti-semitism, murder of innocent women and children, imperialism and power hunger? He went to fight and die in Bolivia because he believed he was HELPING the people, rather than living it up in Cuba like a king as he could have done. for the most part, I think not having any U.S interests on cuban soil, has been more beneficial to Cubans than not. They are not exploited by this government; in particular, I consider conservative republicans to be the spawn of evil.
@bklynguy27 I agree with your thoughts on U.S. imperialism, but where did the conservative republican part come in. I wouldn't say conservatives or republicans or conservative republicans are to blame, as there are just as many rich corporate assholes in the liberal democrat arenas and those rich assholes are the ones who promote such exploitive foreign policies.
And now they run out of shit paper. Pls. they hated blacks, and my old neighbor Mr. Del Pino stated that his opportunities (in a segregated South) was vastly greater than in Cuba. He was black too. He opened a successful dry cleaning bus. Che, Fidel and most of em were racists. Blacks didn't have no chance of success. So Manch3whatever, U don't know what the Hell U are talking about. We will fight communism in this country because we are freedom loving people. It's in our DNA!
Castro didn't treat Cuba like Batista, because before the communist took over, Cuba was a beautiful thriving country, and 3 million Cubans didn't have to leave.
Thank you for posting this, by the way the narrator talks, proves what the old generation of Cubans always says, that the Americans sold us out. The US actually wanted Castro there, till they realized what he was about.......
yeh he did he was about being a all powerful dictator.. 1. he killed Batista regime in public executions as Batista did to castro's men. 2. he later executed and jailed all political prisoners who differed from his policies 3. Because of his arrogance cuba suffered many famines and a lot of staving people died. In all castro did a great thing and was an icon for change until the mid 60's when 4. he tried to use nuclear arms to destroy the U.S and his own people.
After my father in law, the Chief of Police in Santiago, helped overthrow Batista, he was executed under the orders of Raul Castro. Fidel had lied and assured the people that he wasn't a communist, that he would achieve democracy in Cuba..
I think they all do that after a revolution. They get rid of anyone smart enough to come back and overthrow them. They even admit that they made mistakes; but that the end justifies the means, blah, blah, blah.

Cubans in general are quite healthy looking, laid back, enjoy life, full of life, and above all very cheerful. That is to say, no school shootings, no husbands running amok and killing their wives and children, nobody sleeping in the streets or reeking like they haven't bathed in a year, good health care. What a nightmare Cuba must be, eh kid? lol
Tell me what do we do with Cuba? Free Cuba by letting the Mob run it again? Free Cuba by handing it over to the U.S as a banana republic? or giving Cuba a chance by lifting the embargo.

Well. It is not very good for the people, The idea of communism is all money and goods go to the government in a classless society. It may sound nice but, Everyone is poor besides high political figures.
Communism can be many variouse things, if you think of the Soviet Union, you're right. But the idea that Karl Marx had long ago, was that in a communist country, the kapital would be sortet out.
So for a communist country to exist in the way marx belived, it must be resouce based, not kapital/ekonomy based.
Maybe in the USA its a sin, but in Europe, where the democracy is more developed, the communist parties have the right to existence.
France, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Sweden and many other countries, the communist parties had a lot of influence on the government though the 19-hundreds.
There is nothing wrong with Communism, a few bad examples and the united states hate it. Communism is actually more welcome in the better developed Europe, which has actually been touched by it.
The United States is afraid of what they do not understand
It only takes one weak leader to doom a nation, in the Soviet's case it was Gorbachev. The Americans bought him out and turned him into a puppet. The Soviet people were shocked and sickened by that, and revolted against their government.
