hands that are grasped around you. When the hands loosen up you can grab two finger. Get only 2 fingers, if you get more, then it doesn't work. Twist his fingers and break the finger bones. Your attacker is trying to hurt or even kill you, so screw playing nice, even for men. You want to put your attacker down and a ball kick or punch is an excellent way to do it.
