I used to have a fastback version of this car.It was a Suzuki Aerio SX and i had a lots of fun with it.It has 2.0 L 150 hp engine.With 15 inch mags and body kit.I hitted a racoon wich destroyed my front bumper.I changed it for Sx4 Awd Both cars are great.Funny cos the American version of top gear are using a Sx4 for their guest's lap test.

@drewerz01 The Liana is sure not a heap of junk, but why would people buy a Liana if the old Suzuki Baleno was much better and costed about nothing secondhand. Baleno, wrong name, very good car, so cheap.

At suzuki they forgot they had the Baleno built like a tank, so it never breaks and outlives probably any Liana ever produced.

@drewerz01 I have a Daewoo, namely Daewoo Lanos, for 11 years and considered the cost I've paid for it, it is great, great car! For whole time it has never been garaged and it has no rust on the body, the engine is almost as good as it was when I bough it. Althougt it is a "peasant" car, with it's 1,6 16V engine from Opel Vectra, it is quite overengined and it gives me oportunities to deal out with some bigger and presumed faster cars.

So I think it don't deserve making laugh of it, seriously...

The only Liana I've ever seen was a 5-door estate thing. Never seen the 4-door, except at the 2008 London Motor Show, where it was advertised as the R.P.C in TopGear. That's it's only selling point it seems!

Wow, a Forenza? In the UK in the early 70s we used to have a Vauxhall (GM) coupe called the Firenza. Looked good but was always in the shadow of the Ford Capri. Recently I went to a rally event and there was a Chevrolet Firenza with a 302 V8, that I learned was a version produced in South Africa in small numbers for homologation for Can Am type racing. The thing burned rubber like nothing else at this event, but unfortunately it pivoted around the front end on the corners!
