yet again, the yin and yang ARE part of their culture and everything that is part of their culture it is used for. I always thought that the Eastern civilization's culture was almost like ours, but not completely. This lecture really helped me understand what they do, and how different it really is...
One can't exist without the other. It is a very important part of their culture and can be aplied to everything. I also appreciated the artwork presented. those scrolls where beautiful.

This was quite an Interesting lecture. The Chinese and Japanese or Eastern culture has a definately different way of doing things. For example,the Idea of chi can't be defined yet it exsist. Because chi can happen or be reached anywhere in many ways: a definition would only hender or put limits on it. Therefore, since chi has limits it has no definition. As for yin and yang, they are not a representaion of good vs evil. I found that surprising because thats how I had always interprited it.
