  • Omg!! I love this this was awesome.

  • Breastfeeding is natural? so is using the restroom, yet I am not allowed to do that in public and that too is time consuming. I am a mother bc I chose to be so I along with every other mother should so some consideration for others that did not choose to see your breast.

  • @nvygal Your argument is old and tired. YOU are not seeing my breast. Don't look and you are not nurishing a baby when you take a shit. STFU already!

  • Breastfeeding is absolutely the most NATURAL thing to do in public or private. I think its fine. I agree with you absolutely. Its just in the United States where they look at public breastfeeding like something indecent . I totally AGREE with everything you have said.

  • @Love2TravelAway Thank you!

  • (continues). The things is that the woman was about the get up and leave somewhere else to breastfeed her child there, but the PEOPLE around her told the guard to piss off and that how disturbed was he to care about a mother feeding her child. Its an experience that always shocks me to notice that some people still have got a brain left inside their heads!

  • @aylaelea It's amazing the gaul people have to say such a thing to a mother. Thank you for sharing this story. :)

  • I love this video! This reminds me of an experience i had once in one airport. We were waiting for boarding and one foreigner woman was sitting in front of me with her little baby and she started to cry, so the woman automaticly pulled her shirt up and started to breastfeed her, the cry stopped instantly and nobody didnt really notice or seemed disturbed. But few seconds later one guard came to tell her she couldnt be doing that in public. The woman didnt understand him (continues)

  • I came across this video too late it seems. Everyone posted months ago. I really love this though & I'll be sharing this on my FB because its absolutely true!!! How do you feel about breastfeeding older children (5+ years old) When the child is in school. Do you think that will have an impact on the child in the future? I'm very interested to hear your POV on this topic & if you already have discussed it please disregard my question lol

  • you are fantastic.. thank you!

  • @reilsboots Thank you :)

  • Women told my wife to go else where to feed my 8 month old son, Wrong move since I overheard her, I said she is covered up and to mind your OWN fcking business as I was walking up to her. She ran like a bitch.

  • @Residalz28 Bravo! More men like you please! :) Thank you.

  • It only bothers weirdos, its all about nature and shared love between beautiful babies and there mothers

  • @alianstuff ABsolutely :) Thank you

  • Hurrah!!!!

  • Also no one likes haveing things shoved in there face I think if u tried to educate people it.kwiuld come across a lot better. Don't rant and rave or make big protest. People don't see nursing mothers they see nude crazies. It is wrong for the most part. But people r not perfect. Try to educate don't get crazy explain it is your right and they r the one who has a problem not u.

  • @Hooser1000 There are plenty of mothers modestly and calmly "educating" the world. I can get crazy and heated about it if I want to. Judging form the overwhelming support of my rant it seems there has been a need for it.

  • I don't agree with any wemon showing any type of breast. This is what makes people not support wemon who are fanatics about this. U think everyone out there is out to get u. I support breast feeding I have kids and there r a lot of good things that come from it. However it needs to be done in a manner that is respectfully to all. You can feed your baby in public that is your right and I agree that it should be. I also think u should respect those around you and try to cover up......

  • @Hooser1000 Yes. And there is nowhere in my video where I am saying I don't want to be respectful or modest. Why does everyone assume that we want to show our tits to the world?? Its ridiculous.

  • LOVE!!! thanks for making this video! as a nursing mother, i find myself making this argument all the time...and sadly its often other nursing mothers who say negative things about breastfeeding in public.

  • @katzpurr80 Yes. Like the one I just got a few minutes ago. Comparing nursing to taking a shit. SO TIRED of that comparison. We are not nourishing a baby when we take a shit and it smells bad so People need to wake up! :)

  • What's even more messed up is that I've seen commercials promoting breast feeding and saying how healthy it is for the mother and child, and yet women still can't do what is said to be natural and good for mother and child in public? Isn't that like saying "Oh yea eating food is totally healthy and good for you, JUST NEVER DO IT IN FRONT OF PEOPLE OR IN PUBLIC! EVER!!!" Makes no sense.

  • @PeytonMarieThompson Absolutely!

  • loooooooooolu made me laugh

  • You are right...

I'm a breast fan. To admit it, I find it dificult not to look.

  • You are absolutly right!

  • @friscky02 :)

  • This is my 3rd time watching this video because I can't get over how much I love it. You say what all mommas want to say with an added sassiness.

  • @mamasazombie Thank you very much!

  • MY only problem with a woman breastfeeding is that I am jealous I can't suck on a woman's breast in public, but the baby can..... Seriously though, doesn't bother me.

  • @Fantasyromeo Your suckling the breast would be classified as sexual. Whereas the baby is only for life sustaining nourishment and nurturing. The sexual correlation to the breast feeding is what primarily causes the controversy and peoples problem with it. I understand your humor though. Thank you for your comment.

  • How can you disagree with the idea of using a blanket or doing it in a way which it isn't obvious? It's a curtesy to do that and those people who think its ok to just pull your stuff out in public are missing the point. If you do it tastefully them there's nothing wrong with it,. Just use curtesy and common sense.

  • @Timmy2384 Because blankets don't work. Kids pull them off and they sweat a lot under them. The courtesy is in being modest without a blanket and also for the onlookers to mind their own. If you paid attention in my video I said mothers usually don't whip their whole boob for you to see. Breast feeding mother are very courteous and have extreme common sense hence they breast feed their child when and where the child is hungry.

  • @Timmy2384 Isn't it rude to stare at stranger, regardless of what they are doing? Courtesy is continuing to do what you were doing in the first place. Furthermore, the needs of a child who cannot control their needs trump the discomfort of adults.

  • @mamaducksc Totally agree!

  • Can I "like" this video more than once?! This is fantastic. Thank you for making and sharing it. Breastfeeding is hard, and our society is against breastfeeding mothers. Carry on, warriors, and keep giving your babies THE BEST! The rest of the world can suck up their discomfort. Our babies can't suck it up and stop being hungry outside of the house.

  • @101tinkbaby Thank you warrior momma! :) and you are so welcome! Absolutely!!

  • I Love your passion!!!!!!!

  • @spinningwheel8 Thank you! :) Blessings!

  • I have a 6 month old son and I brest feed him on demand so that means if I am out shopping and he gets hungry I feed him. He will NOT take a bottle for anyone but mostly for me so if we go out I do not have the choice of pumping and bottle feeding. I do however feel strange when people stare at me while I am breast feeding I do not stare at them while they bottle feed their child. One thing I awlays say is When was the last breast milk recall? You always hear about formula recalls! LOVE this!!!

  • @Kbeamish4 Awesome! Good for you and your baby! :) Yea, I jut don't look at anyone when I nurse. I feel like if I look at anyone that'll draw them to look at me. So I just pretend no one is around. haha they are probably looking, but I never notice. Someone would have to come up to me to affect my bubble :)

  • OMG, thank you! This was awesome! Having always been really modest, it is really degrading to me for breastfeeding moms to be called exhibitionists!

  • @ZuttoNoTomodachi You are so welcome! Yes it is degrading! That's the point of why they say that. So as to make us feel ashamed. Also implying that we are perverts for involving babies in our so called exhibition. Unacceptable for someone to call a mother feeding her child an exhibitionist! Don't let them shame you! :)

  • FEEDING BABIES IS WHAT BOOBS ARE FOR!

If not, women would just have pecs like men!

  • @morepuppies Haha yep, indeed! :)

  • I love you!! lol ... I think another thing to point out is that not all mums can express and lots of breastfed babies don't take bottles :) .. I tried expressing to donate milk, and after an hour i got about 5mls, no matter what I did to increase supply and express I just couldn't! .. Love the video!! x

  • @dawngalloper12 Yes great point. Thank you. Love back atcha! :)

  • GO GIRL! I am so lucky I couldnt formula feed :)

  • @dragonflyNI Right on!! What a blessing! :)

  • @karaseen please make more vids to support breastfeeding woman this got passed around a lot of pages on facebook thats how i see it. you like a hero :) we want more! how about a rant on stupid things people say to breastfeeding woman, you know them types "how long you going to do that for" "you be still at that when he is in school" why dont you just give a bottle" stories on how others wont breastfeed etc etc yaadada.

  • @dragonflyNI Thank you very much. I am sure as I get past my first year of BFing I'll start to hear those comments and I'll be able to authentically express my frustrations of such things in a further video. :) Soon Soon :)

  • GO GIRL!

  • You are awesome!! Thank you!

  • @sophiasmoma Thank you.

  • Thank you! You have said everything that I have wanted to say. :) I am posting this on FB!

  • @jvfierro4 You are so welcome and thank you!!!

  • You are awesome! Great video!

  • @BrandiD05 Thank you!!

  • Awesome!! People really do need to get a grip and mind their own damn business!

  • @jlocsgirl04 Agreed!

  • OMG THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! Can we be friends? You said everything I have been attempting the say on my blog the last couple of weeks

    iamnotthebabysitter(dot)com

  • @JMorjig We can TOTALLY be friends :)

  • Thank you, I appreciate the honest stance on things. I luckily haven't ever been given a weird stare or bad comment from a stranger. However my dad suggested I go to the car when we were at a restaurant and so I sat outside in front of the restaurant with no cover. How dare you. My son is 7 months old and won't take a bottle, so you better believe I will nure where and when I want to.

  • @hazeldream1984 Wow, father had a problem egh? I'm sorry. Yea my public breast feeding has caused serious family turmoil over the first few months, partly what inspired this video actually. Stay strong girl!

  • OMG, I LOVE YOU!!!!! Thank you so much for being AWESOME! I have been using a blanket to cover my 5 week old while we nurse in public but I found that she sweats like a grown man so NO I will not make my baby uncomfortable any more! Why should my baby be forced to sweat her head off while she eats just because some asshole thinks we are gross? Again, thanks for this I will share as much as I can to get this video viewed!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!

  • @MsEyeRock Omg Well thank YOU! Absolutely! Screw the blanket. I find it is sufficient enough wearing a somewhat modest shirt and a casual hand placed over the area shielding on lookers. 5 weeks, Yea.. At 5 months the baby won't even let you put a blanket over them. All the flailing draws more attention. :) Good for you! Keep rockin' free momma!

  • Thank you <3 I love this video! Couldn't have said it any better myself! :) 5+ months breastfeeding my own baby, and it truly is difficult with always having to worry about what people think and their comfort zones when I should care for my own and baby's comfort zones first than others. I'm glad I have a very supported family by my side.

  • @allisonm91892 Thank you! Yes it can be difficult. A way I try to make it easier is I simply won't look at anyone around me while I nurse. That way if someone is looking or offended I won't know the difference. I just put my blinders on and do my thing. :) Congrats on BFing this long so far! Yay! :)

  • I dont know how i got here but i totally agree with this im only 13 and i know what there there for im a girl and i honestly don't care i just ignore it its natural

  • @4Kittybobo That is so wonderful to hear. Really. I think more parents have problems with it than teenagers do. So good for you. You will be a well rounded, reasonable, logical adult :)

  • You're awesome. I love your rant. Totally going to share your video :D

  • @CraftyKoo Omg thank you. :)

  • Looove this! Thank you for trouncing every single argument I've heard against public breastfeeding.

  • @GirlWSlingshot You are SO very welcome! :)

  • its a beautiful and natural thing and i have no problem with it / the first time i saw it in public was in Austin TX at an open air restaurant in 1978 and nobody had any problem with it as if it was a every day thing in life / the world has gotten screwd up sence those times / it seams today everyone tries to find something to complain about just to make a point / im to laid back for the drama thing / good video

  • @ernest302 Thank you for your support. :)

  • The world needs more ladies like you standing-up for and empowering women to do what is natural and what our breasts were made to do! Many of us that want to give our babies the BEST start in life have a hard enough time learning to latch our babies correctly and getting over early difficulties like engorgement and sore nipples - covering up in the early days is the furthest thing from our minds. We don't need ignorant morons interfering with feeding our babies. Thank you for this video! :-)

  • @dangerouspeach Thank you very much! Yep, it's a crazy hard task adjusting to breast feeding. I just can't STAND seeing women be weak or insecure or getting overpowered or trampled on. It's been going on long enough!

  • I can't BELIEVE that people are absolutely happy with seeing a half naked woman in the club or on tv or as you said, some under aged teen with BARLEY THERE shorts walking around in the mall but they want to complain about a mother feeding her child!! SERIOUSLY?!! Dude I'm not a mother yet but when I become one I will not be ashamed for what I do in public ESPECIALLY when it's for my health and and health of my child. This world is so backwards! I don't get it at all!!!

  • @preciousplc You said it, The world IS backwards! But hey we're shakin it up and flippin it the right way again! Enough of this BS right? :)

  • at least use a blanket or something. common courtesy plz

  • @SanguineBullet667 No. We won't use a blanket. If you heard my video I said most women don't show or plop their boobs out so a blanket isn't needed when your shirt or hand covers just fine. Common courtesy is if you don't like it, mind your business. Thank you!

  • Your video gives me such a sense of empowerment. <3

  • @fuzztanks Thank you!! :) Glad to be of service. :)

  • Showing your breast is not what I want to see when I eat I alredy know what their for

  • @modernops101 deal with it ;]

  • @modernops101 Too bad so sad for you. Don't look and we'll all be happy.

  • I had no idea that people used these arguments against breastfeeding... It is choking.

I come from north africa where people are more conservative and breastfeeding has always been something natural. It's now that the society is changing that people are starting to see something wrong with it done in public.

  • @khardala America is really backwards in a lot of ways sadly. But we keep on. At least there re laws protecting breast feeding mothers in most states thank goodness!!

  • Mothers having to leave the restaurant because they are breastfeeding 0_o

No... There is something really wrong with these people. I mean a mother with her baby is something so sweet and vulnerable. I can't understand these people.

  • @khardala I don't understand them either :(

  • you go girl!!!! i couldnt care less where i am when feeding my baby (altho i had to bottle feed my new baby for health reasons) but befor we had to switch and with my first son i would feed anywhere and if someone didnt like it i would politely tell them to F@*k off xxx

  • you go girl!!!! i couldnt care less where i am when feeding my baby (altho i had to bottle feed my new baby for health reasons) but befor we had to switch and with my first son i would feed anywhere and if someone didnt like it i would politely tell them to F@*k off xxx

  • @redvixen360 They probably wanked off later : D

  • @RPGfiend ha! probably. oh well. they'll wank to anything! ;p

  • @redvixen360 Right on. It's silly it's such a problem for so many. Hopefully not for too long. :)

  • Niiice

  • @1999nadz :) Thank you.

  • Beautiful argued...totally agree with everything you said!

  • @paddymcbrian Thank you so much. So happy you agree. :)

  • You go girl!!! This is an awesome rave! All the more power to you and your baby! YOu ROCK! And thank you for acting as an INSPIRING force for other nursing mothers to gain confidence from. The future needs more mothers like you! Keep it up. You have my TOTAL support!!!! xoxoxo

  • @KatarinaSilvaArt Thank you so much for your support and kind words. :) Blessings to you.

  • When women have breastfed at my church I have just moved away when I saw it and not thought much of it. Definitely not a big deal even if you do see a breast. Nothing dirty about a breast and nothing sexual about breastfeeding. I am a Christian but I sometimes question the Christian attitude about nudity. I am pretty sure that if nudity was not made such a big deal or more people went naked in public folks would be less lustful. It is covering up that makes nudity a big deal.

  • @WebAnt Absolutely agree. When we make something forbidden, taboo, or bad is when people by nature lust after it more and contort it. If we would just let everything be I think we'd see far less problems. Live and let live. Unless they are murdering raping or stealing just mind our own.

  • You see it, you look away and you go about your business. Simple as that. Sheesh.

  • @WebAnt I know right. Wish everyone felt as you.

  • YES!!! THANK YOU :)

  • @jonnyb33 Thank YOU! :)

  • Love it! I agree completely with you!

  • Well it's not much of a deal over here - actually:

If you see a feeding mother, you just make sure you give her some quiet and space, so you don't disturb her and her baby - well, and everyone's good. That's how it is here - easy, isn't it.

  • @steintanz Easy breezy :) That is how we hope it will be here someday in this backwards U.S.

  • Couldn't have said it better myself!!!! I think everyone that is against breastfeeding in public should watch this!!! You go girl!

  • @kielyemig16 Thank you so much. It's hard to convince those against it unfortunately, but hopefully this gets through to some naysayers.

  • When my mother found out I was breast feeding my first baby in 1972, she acted like I was doing something sexually objectionable. The pediatrician said my baby would be mentally retarded (he was certified genius @ age 13 by Duke U). Our hippie friends could handle nude girls in the yard but slunk out of the room when I was discreetly nursing.

  • @cyn37211 Wow! That's awful. Guess those hippies weren't really about the natural so much as the sexualized nudity. And isn't it sad that our parents and grand parents were lied to, shamed and stripped of such a blessed experience to nurse?? Doctors be dammed I often feel.

  • I love this! I breastfeed both my kids in public. This needed to be said thank GOD my hubby was on broad with it I lost all my baby weight in the first month. I almost died laughing. Thanks

  • @TheMexicanMomma Oh awesome. Thank you! You lost all your baby weight that fast? Oh lucky ducky ;p :) That is so wonderful your hubby supported you. Mine does too fiercely even.

  • Well said I love it!

  • @TheMexicanMomma Thank you very much. :)

  • Wow. Nothing to add here. Great job

  • @thatheathergirl1 Haha Thank you :)

  • I.LOVE.THIS.VIDEO!!!!!!!

  • @momof3greatboyz Thank you . :)

  • The first time I breastfeed my little Grace was at a mall, on one of the benches malls have in the middle of the stores, I was seriously not ready for all the different reactions I was getting, it was like everyone that passed by needed to see what I was doing, and their approval or disapproval of breastfeeding was so easy to see on their faces, come on really?? Can you walk on NOT stare at the same time? Whoa I didn’t know it could be that taboo to breastfeed in public .

  • @Jesus4eversaves Haha I bet that was intense to witness all their inner feelings about it. I don't look at anyone when I nurse in public for that very reason. I'd get uncomfortable. It's when they come into my bubble that i notice them.

  • I love this! I'm 17 and I find it so hard to breastfeed in public when there are people staring at me. I still do it!! Even though there are people frowning at me, or shaking their head! What? Because I'm under 18 I'm not allowed to breastfeed? -.- and yes! YOU GO EAT YOUR MEAL IN THE PUBLIC TOILETS!

  • @babypear94 Awesome girl! Good for you and good for your baby! Be that inspiration and example for more young women and young mothers. I applaud you!

  • @babypear94 You ROCK.

  • Perfectly said!!!!!

  • @jenniplmp Thank you so much!

  • amen.

  • and if ur kids see it then u need to sit down and explain to them that is how some babies eat their food and not make it sexual

  • i have five kids myself three boys and two girls and there would be no way in hell i would take my child in a nasty ass bathroom and put them at risk for what may be in there to harm them but i never had the chance to breastfeed because my milk did not want to work right lol but i am all for breastfeeding it is tons better for them and prevents their teeth from decaying which bottles causes.i say we are all adults and u see a mother breastfeeding its normal

  • "sit next to someone stinky, pooping, and farting in the stall next to me..."

lmao... xD this video was awesome. and funny. i agree 100%

  • You are Awesome!!!!!!

  • lol totally. breastfed my allergic-to-milk-and-just-about-everything-else son for TWO YEARS and he has been sick once in his life, and it was a small fever and cough for 2 days. funny, people think breast milk is gross but they don't give a second thought to drinking a big glass of cow's milk. kinda off, isn't it?

  • I freaking love you!

  • Haha, this vid is so funny!! I love this woman!! :-p I breastfeed wherever. No way will I feed in a smelly dunny! urgh!

  • amen sister! <3

  • <3 it!! Couldn't put it better!

  • Hope it's okay, I used your video in my blog post tonight! Loved your thoughts and couldn't have said it better! Thank you!!!

  • @BrowniALaMode It is absolutely ok. Thank you for your support. Share this vid however you like. :)

  • You are AWESOME....we love you!!!!!!

  • @globalpiracy Thank you so much! So much love back. :)

  • I nurse in public all the time and I also stand up for myself and other women nursing in public. I endorse and participate in Nurse Ins, public group breastfeeding, etc - because it IS normal... bottle feeding is not only not normal but formula is inferior nutrition. I am nursing my second child now... so far no ignorant people getting into my personal bubble... but I'm ready for when it does!

  • @TheActivist79 Kuos to you powerful momma! :) That's awesome. I would LOVE to participate in a NurseIn Omg would I ever. To be around all those empowered women doing such a wonderful thing oh my goodness.

  • LOVE IT!!!! You do it in such a wonderful way! Passing it on everywhere!

  • @kaylabelle05 Oh thank you so very much! Blessings to you.

  • I 100% support

  • @RachelVull Thak you sooooo much for your support. It gives me so much hope for our future to know mothers agree so strongly.

  • Aaaaaaaamen!!!!!!!!!!!!:))))))))

  • @AshleyCnotO :) Thank you. :)

  • I wish I could have found more videos like this when I very first started breastfeeding my 1st daughter. I didn't know anyone else who had very much experience breastfeeding but I was determined because I was told by so many that it was wrong and I wouldn't be able to do it. It was so hard for me to feed my daughter in public because I had everyone staring at the first time mother trying to feed a screaming baby. We succeeded and am now breastfeeding #2. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION!

  • @girlnamedbillie Oh kudos to you momma for surviving and sticking it through on your first. Big congrats. You are doing so wonderfully. The world is becoming a better place by your contributions of healthy happy children. :) Thank you.

  • SUPER!!! Very empowering for our poor sisters having to deal with such fuckwits over the pond. We're very sorry for the lack of intelligence in those countries in N.America who still haven't figured out the priorities thing. Here, in Europe, nobody would dare harrass a breastfeeding mother. In anycase, we do it in wrap around slings so nobody can see whats going on anyway. But the message is very empowering and very important for new mothers to hear I think. GREAT JOB! KEEP IT UP!

  • @astharte2001 Thank you so much. Yes America is so insanely backwards about so much. And to think that the U.S. tries to infiltrate every other culture with it's backwards ways. Ick! Thank you so much. Blessings to you.

  • I subbed....I fricking love you!!! <3

  • @jennyjoe798 Thank you so much. Much love back to you :)

  • Lol you really made my day! I'm pregant with what will be my 5th EBF baby. I know how hard it can be but I was blessed with a supportive mother and hubby, an iron will, and a thick skin. I've put up with quite a bit of foolishness. I've also seen too many babies end up on the losing end in this debate. People need to cut the shit. It's for the damn kids.

  • @mamaduck81 Exactly! Good for you mamma! SO awesome. You are giving the best gift. Thank you.

  • I couldn't breast feed my son, but I am breast feeding my daughter. I feel weird nursing her in public. But it's not like I flop my boob out for all the world to see. I have respect. For myself and others. I cover up. It's my daughter that feels the need to uncover me. Lol! But I feel that it should be addressed alot more. That's why wic is all about it. The let you nurse anywhere in the office. Thank you for making this be seen by everybody. :)

  • I'd love to see someone respond to a complainer by shoving those magazines at them as they approach the breastfeeding mother. Great arguments and well said :)

  • Bravo! I love this so much!!!!! I made sure to share it with EVERYONE! Keep rockin'!

  • You. Rock! Keep spreading the word, mama. Breastfeeding is normal, natural, & the best thing for women & their babies - WHEREVER they are!

  • Awesome you know how to empower a breastfeeding mother!

  • You rock!

  • You rock! Peace, love, and boobie milk from a momma who's been "offensive" since November 2009--- yup, my nearly two year old gets his nursies even in public:)

  • You are awesome! Love this!

  • As a breastfeeding mom I want to thank you! Wonderful video.

  • As a breastfeeding mom I want to thank you! Wonderful video.
