@Chernobog2 actually he never was a SOLDIER only his brother was. After encountering Jenova he got some Jenova cells and with Mako poisining combined it resulted in the fact that he really thinks that he had lived the life of his brother who he really looked up to.

the thing that i like about the ps3 version of this game that you can make your own map,cars,story,characters,tec using the UDK (unreal devloper kit) and put it on the memory stick and transfer the file to the game and be able to play it. and UDK is free. too bad mine can only the 2004 version of UDK and after that i cant use it (since they keep on updating the stupid thing to the point i need to upgrade everything on my computer. - upgrading pc since mine is window 7 and just need certin upgra

on crisis core, for what I remember, what happens is that Zack's blood is used on a transfusion to Cloud, and with the transfusion (cause of the mako energy) Zack's memories were transfered to Cloud as well

1. I don't know if you have played Crisis Core, but at the end, Cloud is ontop of the train and says ''I am Cloud, Soldier 1st Class'' Why does he say that? Has he taken the role of Zack all of a sudden?

2. Also, in FFVII. You see flashbacks of parts in Crisis Core where Nibelheim was on fire and there was a huge massacre by Sephiroth. 5 years later in FFVII, Cloud returns and everything is perfectly normal, how's that possible?

To 2.) ShinRa rebuild Niebelheim and filled it with actors why they did I have forgotten. (Deep inside my memories tell me that they don't wanted attention to this Nibelheim-Thing. After all Mr.Shinra snr. didn't want people to think bad of his company but I'm not sure.)

And yes, I have played CC, twice.

A different question. There are some things that don't make sense in my mind. First of all, When Zack dies, Cloud obviously knows Shinra is the murderer. YET, after Zack's death, he's ontop of the train and calls himself Cloud, first class Soldier. So he's serving Shinra? ...after they killed Zack?...WTF?

Second of all, at the beginning of VII, he's no longer part of Soldier, while he says a minute ago on the train that he's 1st Class Soldier? ...Doesn't make sense either.

In the endscene of CC Cloud has parts left of his own personality, he remembers the flight with Zack and that Zack is someone important to him, he drags him towards Midgar because Zack wanted to be something like a mercenary, he remebers that. On his way the Mako Influence gives his old personality the rest, he creats a new one.

I have played the real FFVII and when he jumps off the train, he's fighting for Avalanche, an anti-shinra group, so he's no Soldier there. Also, later on in the story, he remembers everything and he says he has never been a Soldier first class, in fact, he was just a Shinra infirmant. So, he's playing like he's Zack and then he's just fighting for Avalanche afterwards. A weird storyline indeed...

He knows this because he's able to "read" Tifa's mind (-> Jenova-Cells and stuff like that) On his highest point of confusion Sephiroth tells him he were just a clone of himself, Cloud gives him the dark materia. He falls in the lifestream, there he tries to clear the puzzel of his past. At the end Tifa Lockheart's (the truth locked in her heart, you can find many information just in FFVII's names) memories about the Nibelheim-Thing
