Legality and sin are two different things. It is legal to murder an unborn child in the United States, but it is still a terrible sin. God will still hold the murderer accountable.

The flood story of the Bible is the first, and most reliable.

There's a reason for so many disagreeing religions. I'd argue it's because there is no "true god" to make the world better, guide his chosen people, or even talk to us. Religion is strongly tied to geography and tradition. If you were born in Pakistan, you'd probably be Muslim. The southern U.S., a Christian. Each religion has conflicting views so they can't all be correct. If one religion is correct, why can't some one show the world testable, scientific evidence favoring it? Why rely on faith?

I would define "species" as the Biblical "kind". In this case, two animals that can breed with each other and produce offspring would be the same species, whether the offspring is fertile or not. Infertility is a result of a massive loss of genetic information and micro-evolution post-flood.

I call him a false prophet for two reasons:
1.) He denied the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which Jesus Himself said was the be-all-end-all of salvation. There is no other revelation needed. Muhammad corrupted the perfect Gospel of Christ, which was the fulfillment of the law.
2.) Muhammad was a particularly wicked person. Jesus said "you will know them by their fruit" and Muhammad's fruit was some of the most aweful of all time.

Legality and sin are two different things. It is legal to murder an unborn child in the United States, but it is still a terrible sin. God will still hold the murderer accountable.
Likewise with Muhammad. A 9 year old girl has not reached physical maturity (i.e. puberty) and is thus still a child. You might argue that people should be allowed to get married by age 12-13, but anytime before that and you are arguing for unnatural sex (which the Bible calls sexual immorality).

Sacrifice is an inherently selfless act (dying on purpose to save others). In fact, sacrifice is the greatest and most powerful example of love. This is what Jesus did for us--sacrifice.

Most indigenous cultures around the world have a global flood legend, indicating first that there was one, and second that the farther away from the source of the story one goes (God, Noah, and Moses) the more innacurate the details become. Most of the Bible is fairly simple to understand. "Cryptic" passages are pretty much confined to eschatological prophecy (i.e. Isaiah, Daniel, Amos, Joel, Revelation, etc...).

Third, Genesis 9:1-3 explains that carniverous predation did not begin to occur until after the flood concluded.

There's a reason for so many disagreeing religions. I'd argue it's because there is no "true god" to make the world better, guide his chosen people, or even talk to us. Religion is strongly tied to geography and tradition. If you were born in Pakistan, you'd probably be Muslim. The southern U.S., a Christian. Each religion has conflicting views so they can't all be correct. If one religion is correct, why can't some one show the world testable, scientific evidence favoring it? Why rely on faith?

Christianity overall has the greatest numbers as you said, but it encompasses a broad range of sub-beliefs. Do the Protestants have it right? The Roman Catholics? Baptists? Evangelicals? Orthodox?
With each sub-religion there are differing beliefs on the nature of God and the Bible, and not all of them can be correct.

Well, you can test any of numerous claims. For example, Christians claim that the Bible is non-contradictory. Muslims claim it has 101 contradictions. Christians claim that the modern Biblical translation are over 99.7% similar to the original MSS.
The Bible claims that dinosaurs and man coexisted, a flood covered the earth, the earth is round, and the heavens were stretched out. All of these are true. The Bible claims the earth is about 6000 years old.

Sometimes you have evidence that appears contradictory (although this is only an illusion) and so you have to decide between the two.
In this case, whenever multiple radiometric dating ratios are used on the same sample a vastly different age is ALWAYS reached.

We also know that nuclear decay rates can be slightly manipulated in laboratory condition and even in nature nuclear decay can be increased by magnitudes under certain conditions.
Gaseous diffusion, on the other hand, is static.
So in this case we must go with helium diffusion until we can figure out the problem with radiometric dating.

The measurements were even taken by a secular evolutionist who rejects Young-Earth Creationism, and still the results indicate the earth is 5980 +/- 200 years old. Helium diffusion from zircon is constant, a perfect way for measuring earth age, and four samples and measurements were taken.

Yes I believe the story of Noah, the flood, and the ark is completely true. It literally happened, around 2350 BC. Most historical records fit with this, including the known founding dates of Babylon, Egypt, and Greece.
Your classification of species is secular. For example, in reality a polar bear and a kodiak are not two different "species". They both can breed and yield viable offspring. Zebras and horses, lions and tigers, etc...

Which studies? The offspring of a species must be fertile to count, not a zebra-horse hybrid. And mammals only count for a fraction of the world's organisms.
Estimated species numbers: 100,000 tree, 10 million insect, 5,400 mammal, 6000 earth worm, etc.
Most fish species cannot survive in both salt water and fresh water. That'd be a lot of water on the Ark for tanks.
Other problems include food for 40 days, separating predators from prey, escaping animals, diseases (which are also organisms).

I'd loosely define it as organisms that can reproduce within their group (who's offspring of both genders are also fertile). The definition is loose because nature doesn't make neat classifications.
And do you assume speciation doesn't happen over time (like when an isolated population gains traits that prevent it from breeding with outside populations of the original species)? If so, you must account for every distinct species since the claimed flood.

I would define "species" as the Biblical "kind". In this case, two animals that can breed with each other and produce offspring would be the same species, whether the offspring is fertile or not. Infertility is a result of a massive loss of genetic information and micro-evolution post-flood.
Neither trees nor insects would need to be included on the ark. Even if you did include insects (with each pair having something like a shoebox-size habitat) there would still be more than enough room.

Carbon dating is backed up by multiple independent areas of physics. Look into it more, from a neutral point of view.
The first person to demonstrate otherwise would surely win a Nobel Prize in physics and millions of dollars, so if you are correct, jump on that.

Carbon dating is certainly accurate within 3500 years, but beyond that its own half-life makes it useless for measuring.

If you are referring to early on than the answer is simple: Jesus was a poor peasant, not a worldly king like the ones you mentioned. Additionally, we, as the Church serve as His representation, He doesn't need statues.

well to all the disbelievers of religion e.g. christianity: i do agree that there are some incoherences. but in my opinion this comes from man made tradition. i think religion should be a thing only between you and god. because it is not possible to proof it in a natural scientific way. and this is what makes people argue. personally i commit myself in secular matters to the natural scientific science. in religious matters i just believe in jesus. and i can tell you that it is liberating.

as a matter of fact, i read it for about 2 weeks, front to back.
It is an amazing novel.
but my mind works under logic. I unfortunately only believe in things I've seen, things that have proof it's been there, and evidence through science, rather than word of mouth.
Oh, and I definitely recommend Ted Dekker.
He's an amazing Christian writer. Very powerful.

No. I take the entire Bible as literal truth, word for word. Some is historical (the Torah, Kings, the Gospels, Epistles, etc), some is poetic and figurative (Psalms), and some is prophetic and figurative (Daniel, Revelations, Ezekiel, etc). However, the entire Bible is literally true.
What you are referring to our ordinances of the Levitical law that was meant for, and only for, the people of Israel.

The lesser Mitzvahs are not the same as the commandments and deadly sins. Sin comes from the heart. The eternal law is not the same as Israelite ordinances.
One thing that is quite clear from the Bible: God is not in the business of altering or correcting government, that is our job. He will bring absolute justice when Christ returns to earth, but in the meantime He is letting us have are completely unleashed free will, and attempting to guide us, one step at a time, towards Him.

The very issue you bring up is addressed by Jesus on the issue of marriage. An authority asked him why the "law" of Moses allowed for a certificate of divorce even though Jesus had said divorce was always sinful. Jesus' reply was that God had never intended marriage to be that way, but because the hearts of the Israelites were hard, He allowed Moses to give them the means for divorce (free will).

I always wonder when God will come and it is hard to imagine for people like me and you that he exists but when I was reborn I felt a happiness that I never felt which must have been the holy spirit just read a Bible for 10 minutes and I hope I see you in heaven.
