Improv Funk in a variety of Keys!!!!

hey can you tell me what your doing in your left hand. i love to solo to grooves but i never know what to do with the left hand bass line. Just doing octaves or 5ths sound to empty to me. thanks

I live in Graz, a small city with a BIIG Jazz-Academy, and there are some ppl who are awesomely awesome just like you guys, they are so extremely harmonic, everytime they miss a key, they just play through the circle of fiths till they get back to the original key. And that's all supportet by a scat singer(ess), a saxophone and so on. It's just awesome, you guys would have so much fun with them :D

@stux007 well, you'd have to come to Graz / Austria / Europe. Normally they play in our neighbor-lands too. I guess our best jazz-pianist would be Tuomo Uusitalo, but I can't find any videos here on Youtube. I'll let you know if I find videos of him in action!
